Scream Queens 2- Episode 4 Recap

Scream Queens 2- Episode 4 Recap

Here the recap of Episode 4 of Scream Queens 2. This week was all about looking hot and sexy while playing a horror character. Oh yeah, the girls were shocked to find out that Karlie was eliminated and Allison knows what Jamie was saying about her facial expressions. She says that she does that a lot.

This weeks challenge wit Jamie King was all about looking sexy while playing an iconic horror character. Special guest was Debbie Rochen who is the editor of Fangoria magazine. Jamie also reveals that whoever wins this challenge not only will get a call back but will also appear on Fangoria magazine. So then, Jamie gives the girls an iconic character to play. Jessica gets the evil nurse, Christine gets the evil school girl, Sierra gets the girl who is home alone and gets a scary phone call, Tai gets to be Frankenstein's wife, Sarah gets the girl in th woods, Gabby gets the girl in the shower and Allison gets to be the mother of a possessed baby. She wasn't happy about that but she did not want to show it. Out of the girls I'll say Jessica, Gabby and Sarah did the best. Tai was just weird and Christine did alright but to me it was not good enough. Sarah ended up getting the call back and her face will be splattered in Fangoria magazine.

Jamie then revealed that Christine and Sierra will getting makeovers, to improve their look in the acting business. Last season, Lindsay ans Marissa got that makeover. This season, it was Christine and Sierra. Sierra was excited to be getting a makeover but Christine was uneasy about it. She says that she does not want them to cut her hair short. She is also freaking out about it as if is the end of the world. It turns out she liked her makeover they did not cut her short but they did with Sierra. Sierra looks like a mom now, to be honest with that makeover.

Then they did a session with John Homa. They had to look like they were seducing John Homa, which was hilarious. You could tell that John Homa enjoyed that shit lol. Sarah did the best on that one. She went far as sticking her finger in his mouth. All the girls were shocked that she did that. As for Allison, she looked she was forced and John Homa told her to relax her face. After the session, they were at the bedroom talking when this skinny looking dude showed up and did a striptease lol all the girls were freaking out, but again that was part of theme for this week. He gave them a note about their directors challenge.

They had to play a stripper that was part reptile and their  co-star was... a python! When Tai heard that snakes were involved., she freaked out because she is scared of snakes.  Allison. was so confident that she was going to nail this one because she was a dancer but once again, her facial expressions got in the way, Her eyes were bugging out and Tim Sullvan told her to work on her eyes. Gabby once again, could not take simple directions and Tai overcame her fear of snakes, she did pretty good. Back at the house, Gabby and Tai got into an argument. Christine told Gabby that the girls were making fun of her when she did her part, so had a confrontation with with then, especially Tai. Tai told her that she is bad actress but has the look and then told her "this is not a modeling competition, it is an acting competition" Gabby was annoyed by her.

Allison,Gabby and Jessica were called at the Grand Ball Room. Jessica got leading lady this week. She did the best. It was down to Allison and Gabby. The judges did not like that fact that Gabby continues to be inconsistent each week. One week she is great an then other week, she is bad. With Allison, the judges had a problem with her facial expressions. Which to me is STUPID! You can't control how your face is. Allison is one that was eliminated, BIG MISTAKE in my opinion. Gabby should have left, the girl can't even take simple instructions.  At least Allison can do that. Then they were 6 girls left.

Scream Queens 2- Episode 3 Recap

Scream Queens 2- Episode 3 Recap

Episode 3 aired last night, here is what happened on this episode. The came back from elimination. Sarah vows to get rid of her accent she also reveals tot he girl that she has anxiety attacks. This week's lesson was all about acting without words. They had to use their body language to act. Their with Jamie King was a very cool one they had to perform a 3D acts using special effects.  It showed this alien looking person on screen and it the girls job to use their body language on how they portray it. Out of all the girls, Sierra did the best

which I was surprised about. Allison did pretty well, except for that cartwheel thing she did at end. Jamie King told her that the cartwheel did  not fit with the performance. Allison look as if she was offended.

Sierra got call back since she did the best. The girls then had a lesson with John Homa about crying on camera. Each girl up and John Homa  have hem a scenario. The class was very deep. Everyone but Karlie did great. Karlie thought that Gabby did the worst but I think she is just mad that she did not do a good job.

After that there was this box and in the box it said, "even the killers are silent" or something like that. Then

mime popped behind and scared them and he had a note. The note said that their next directors challenge was  involved maggots. The girls were grossed out especially Sarah since she had anxiety attacks. They had to do a scene where the girls returned to messy home and find a decomposed body by a loved one filled with maggots and maggots fall on top of them. Out all of the girls Jessica did aweome even maggots went to her mouth lol  Sierra did great too. Karlie and Sara did the worse. Sarah was so worried, I thought she was going to quit, but she went through with it.

Karlie, Sara, Allison and Sierra got called down one of the four was going to be eliminated. Allison and Sierra got called down first, they were safe. Sierra got leading lady. She really rocked this week. Then it was down to Karlie and Sara. I honestly thought that Sara was going home, but it turns out Karlie was eliminated.

Karlie was crying and looked very shocked. She says that "they sent the wrong girl home" In personal opinion. They should have gave her a second chance. But oh well.

Scream Queens- Episode 2 Recap (season 2)

Scream Queens 2- Episode 2 Recap

This was a good episode. The season has a lot of good challenges than last seasons. Here is what hapepned on episode 2. The girls came back and the others realized that Lana was eliminated. Sierra was determined to change her look and prove to the judges that she is a good actress. Gabby needed to get out in "Gabby World" This weeks topic was about being evil/bad girl. They meant up with Jamie King and they had to do a scene where they had to play a witch.

Some girls did great like Christine ans Gabby until she could not stir the pot, others did not did do well  like Rosanna who gets choked up everytime she does a performance. Sierra did not do so well either. Christine got the call back and was safe from elimination. Then they meant up with John Homa and they to act evil and bad. He wanted to see if the girls had inner evil in them and they had to show in their body language. Gabby did great and so did Tai. Sarah did okay but her Chicago accent gets int he way. The one chick that did horrible was Rosanna. She could not get the evil out of her. She had to face John Homa out of all people. She blew it.

Sierra and Rosanna who grew close, were very disappointed with themselves and this director;s challenge was their last hope. This week's director's challenge, they had o play bad girl who stabs her boyfriend. I think that Tai did the best because she stood out by eating that piece of steak. Gabby and Sarah did well too. But once Rosanna blew it, she was too cute and innocent.

Tai, Rosanna,Gabby,Sierra and Sarah were called down for elimination. Gabby and Tai. Were safe. The judges Tai doe to something different, in the other words they want her to surprise them and the judges want Gabby to stop being inconsistent with her performances. Since last week she was bad and this week she was good. Gabby won leading lady. Sarah was safe too. It was down to Sierra and Rosanna (not surprised) Rosanna was eliminated and Sierra was given yet another chance.

Scream Queens 2 Behind The Scenes

Scream Queens 2
Scream Queens 2

The first episode of any big reality show is an insane soup of long hours, last minute details, and impending disaster. As the executive producers and lead creative voices of the show, it’s your job to pretend you believe everything will be okay.

Overly Ambitious?

So, somehow we convinced VH1 and Lionsgate that, in the course of this episode, on time and on our tiny reality TV budget, we could:
  1. Have a boogey man crash through the ceiling, shattering glass everywhere.
  2. Center John’s acting class around smashing pumpkins with a baseball bat (and clean up fast enough to shoot our next scenes 15 minutes later.)
  3. Sneak a “little person” into a fake table without letting our ladies catch on, so we could scare them with a phantom hand.
  4. Build three sets from scratch in order to shoot 10 versions of a fake movie teaser starring each of our 10 actresses.
  5. Edit those together in time to choose a winner for elimination.
Oh, and do all that in just three days.

Crashing Through a Ceiling (Without Killing Anyone)

For our night one acting challenge, we wanted to create a grand entrance for our surprise acting partner. Having chopped through a wall with an axe season 1, we weighed our options for something even more startling.
I really wanted to do an explosion, will full-on pyro, and blow up a whole wall. It wasn’t meant to be. (Peter Spoerri, our Head of Production, almost shot me.) Joke consoled me and said I could blow something up on another show.
Scream-Queens-Season-2-Stuntman-Rig.jpgOnce we came up with crashing through the ceiling as our big reveal, we all got really excited. Could we do it?
What we came up with was to build a rig on the roof (see photo to left) which would support our stunt man, Chase Rivera. He’d be dangling from a wire, through an open, existing skylight. A tinted glass light-box was built to conceal him and look like part of the ceiling.
However, break-away glass is REALLY expensive (on our tiny reality show budget.) We could only afford three panels. 1 for rehearsal, 1 for the shoot, and 1 more just in case. Hey, no guts, no glory, right?
The first rehearsal was awful. We had no choice but to blow another panel and try to get it right. 2nd time around looked much better. So just one piece of glass left to get it right in front of our ladies.
In the control room, we were all freaking out. If we didn’t pull the scare off, it would be a lot of wasted resources, and I was going to be really cranky the rest of the season. Most importantly, we didn’t want to ruin the whole point of the exercise: for our girls to experience real fear before their first acting challenge.
It didn’t help that our stunt man had to dangle above the fake glass the entire time our ladies were entering and meeting the judges. One false move, one bump, too much noise…and the scare would be blown. So Chase Rivera hung, suspended above the glass, silently, for nearly 45 minutes waiting to crash through.

Little Larry

Our scare in the kitchen (used as a fun way to announce script delivery) entailed a hand shooting up out of a bowl of gum-balls. This meant putting a monster hand on Larry Lawrence, AKA “Little Larry” and shoving him into a fake table.

We had to do it quickly, and while the girls were in the next room, so poor Little Larry wouldn’t pass out in there! Way to go, little Larry. Scare worked great.

Shooting 10 Movie Teasers in 8 Hours

The idea for the first director’s challenge was to have each actress star in a short teaser for a fake film. To pull it off, we built three sets on a local stage, and ran our girls through each one at a rapid-fire pace. For the final shot of the teaser, a demon hand punches through the wall and grabs our ladies.
Here’s a little flip video of us acting like kids in a candy store, getting ready to test things out. The video stars our Supervising Challenge Producer, Matt Laesch, and our Head of Production, Peter Spoerri, who agreed to stand in for the 4’9″ Rosanna.

The girls arrived at the mansion. They met up with judges. John Homa returns and Jamie King and Tim Sullivan join the cast. We get introduced to some of the girls. One of them is Jessica who is a latina, Gabby she is so far my favorite, and Allison who was an iPod girl in a commercial. The first test challenge was an act in "Nightmare At Elm Street" they all have to act scared, it was funny to watch though. Jessica and Gabby did the best. Lana did the worst. Sierra looked as if she had a wet dream or in a porno film lol. Gabby got a call back which means she did the best and was safe.

then the girls had a session with John Homa, this weeks session was all about Rage. The girls had to act angry ans they had to smash things they had to say the lines " I know what you are,and I'm not afraid, you won't break me" .It was funny to watch, they acted crazy lol Gabby also revealed that she had been doing acting for 4 and a half years, Allison was mad at her and said "Try two decades bitch!"

After that they had their first script challenge. A hand popped up with the script and the girls were freaked out lol  This weeks director challenge , the girls had to do three scenes: One sexy, one angry and one scared. Lana did the worst, Jessica did the best. Then it was time for eliminations. Lana, Gabby, Jessica, Tai and Sierra were called down for eliminations.  Jessica ad Tai did the best this week and Jessica gets leading lady for this week. Gabby got  warning for being this disconnected on her scene. Lana and Sierra did the worse this week. Jamie King says that Sierra had too many layers of makeup and Lana had no layers. At the end Lana was axed!

Meet Christine Haeberman Scream Queens 2

Porterville native Christine Haeberman, 28, will be featured in the VH1 horror-themed reality series “Scream Queens 2”, premiering tonight at 10/9c.
Haeberman and nine other contestants on “Scream Queens” will compete to land an acting role in Lionsgate’s upcoming “Saw 3D” horror film.
The cast will endure a horror film boot camp with intense physical challenges, work with creatures, gore and stunts while building on their acting skills, a VH1 press release said.
Actress Jaime King will be the show’s host and also judge along with acting coach John Homa and Tim Sullivan, director of “2001 Maniacs” and “Driftwood.”
Among Haeberman’s greater accomplishments has been the opportunity to be a part of the VH1 series, she said.
“I hope this will open a lot of doors for me as far as moving forward, hopefully it will lead to more acting roles,” she said.
Haeberman, a Monache High School graduate, has an artistic nature and appreciation for the arts, mom Karen Haeberman said. Mrs. Haeberman, a Porerville resident and retired teacher who taught for 36 years at Bartlett Middle School, applauds her daughter’s career.
“I’m very happy that she’s pursuing her dream. This has been her passion for many years, even when she was a little girl she’d act out scenes with friends or even alone,” Mrs. Haeberman said.
Since age eight, Haeberman performed in various plays at the Barn Theatre and at Porterville College. She also worked for a Porterville movie theatre.
“She’s not just talented in acting, she does oil painting, sketching, she always loved to sing and took dance lessons from Dance Horizons. She’s very artistic... but her one true passion is acting,” Mrs. Haeberman said.
Haeberman attended the University of Redlands and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and a minor in Theatre.
Following college, Haeberman moved to Berkeley for two years, where she worked in local community theatres and decided that to make it in the film industry she had to move to Los Angeles.
She currently lives in Los Angeles with boyfriend Justin Fields, a USC graduate and aspiring screenwriter.
“I moved to L.A. five years ago to diligently pursue acting,” she said. “[Being an actress] has its up and downs. Somedays I want to quit and feel like I should be like everybody else and get a real job,” she said.
Haeberman’s most recent work involves a sci-fi film titled “The Millenium Bug,” to debut this Fall and an independent horror film titled “Murder Loves Killers Too,” available on DVD.
Since her appearance on the show, Haeberman said she has learned to gain more confidence in her performance.
“I admire that she doesn’t like to be a star, she doesn’t care about being famous — she sincerely loves acting. It just makes her literally glow from the inside out,” Haeberman’s mom said.

Meet Gabby West From Scream Queens 2

Screaming on the job generally isn’t your ticket to the top.
But for Gabby West, a 2003 Century High School graduate, it may just be a career-making move.
West is a contestant on the second season of VH1’s “Scream Queens.” The show seeks to find the best undiscovered actress for the next film in the “Saw” saga, “Saw 3-D.”
“I think (“Scream Queens”) made me realize that acting is absolutely what I want to do with my life,” West said.
The show premieres tonight with West competing against nine other aspiring actresses.
In each episode, eight per season, the women take classes on new techniques before using these skills in a screen test. The show is basically “America’s Next Top Model” for actresses, West said.
“It basically was just an ongoing process of, like, who was constantly on their toes, who had the talent and who was willing to go the distance,” West said.
Three years ago, West had never acted. But after one semester at North Dakota State University as an English Literature major and a year at a university in Bozeman, Mont., West moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
“I literally woke up one day and knew that I needed to move to L.A. and become an actress,” West said.
West attended CHS for her entire high school career. But during her childhood, she attended 13 different schools and her family moved constantly, which kept her from pursuing acting.
“It was something I had always wanted to do, but I moved so much that I didn’t have enough self-confidence to do it,” West said.
After three years in Hollywood, West landed her spot, out of 36,000 hopefuls, on “Scream Queens.”
Shortly before West was chosen for the show, she’d hit her financial rock bottom.
“It just got, like, down to the wire for me,” West said. “There is a lot of struggling that is involved with acting until you really hit it big.”
At that time, West said she was working as a hotel waitress and couldn’t afford anything but food. She was forced to move in with her parents in New Mexico. While she was on her break from Los Angeles, she saw a casting call for “Scream Queens” and went for it.
While on “Scream Queens,” West shared a bedroom and one bathroom with the nine other actresses. She said they were really set apart from the outside world and there was a lot of drama. But for West, the opportunity was worth the additional stress.
“I really felt like ‘Scream Queens,’ at the time, was very make-it-or-break-it,” West said “When I first got there, I was very scared, but I knew that I needed to open up.”
While on the show, West worked with Hollywood directors and coaches and attended the 2010 Comic Con festival.
“It was a really amazing education,” West said. “It was like something you can’t buy. ‘Scream Queens’ was a pretty unforgettable experience that will continue to help me.”
Since being on the show, West has booked a part in the remake of the 1985 movie “Fright Night.” She also has hired a manager and entertainment lawyer and is looking for an agent.
As for the outcome of “Scream Queens,” only time will tell. The show airs at 9 p.m. on Monday nights on VH1.
“The thing about acting is that even though you may be playing a different character, it is a way for you to see yourself really clearly,” West said. “(Acting) is really in my blood and a calling for me.”
