Laura Govan is speaking out to HipHollywood about her sister's split with Matt Barnes. It was reported earlier this month that the couple have split over 'trust issues'. Laura tells the site that they need 'time to grow" and believes they will get back together.

“I’ve  known Matt since we were in the 9th grade. Matt is a good friend of mine, my sister is my sister, but it’s a relationship. I believe they’ll get back together,”  “I just think they need some time, a little time to grow. If they don’t they don’t, if they do, they do. In life I’ve learned that you just have years to live so you might as well live em.'”

Jasmine Brand has captured new images of 'Basketball Wives' star , Tami Roman, with a new man in LA. According to the site, this is her new boo and his name is Reggie. 

There is no further information of what he does but there has been RUMORS that her and Reggie will appear on the 3rd season of WeTV's 'Marriage Bootcamp along with Kendra Wilkinson and Aubrey O Day. According to  RumorFix.com, WeTV has wrapped up shooting season 3, even though they are NOT married.  Season 2, which features Natalie Nunn and Heidi Montag,  has not even aired yet


There has been ANOTHER rumor by SipTheTea that 'Basketball Wives: Miami' will be back for season 6 in February and it will have new faces.

Canada's W Network will be airing their own 'sports wives' type reality show called 'Hockey Wives' According to Yahoo Sports the show is currently in production and will air early 2015. It will feature eight female cast members. so far two have already been confirmed w are Nicole Brown and Noureen Dewulf.

Producer Julie Brostow says she is fully aware that the show will be compared to VH1's Basketball Wives. So far there is no word yet if the show will air in the U.S but I won't be surprised of VH1 gets the rights to episodes and airs it

'Basketball Wives' star, Evelyn Lozada, has responded to the video footage of NFL player Ray Rice punching his wife inside an hotel elevator. The first video was leaked back in March which showed his dragging his knocked-out wife out the elevator. 

Evelyn, who has experience domestic violence back 2012 when Chad Ochocino head- buttered her, speaks on on twitter about the incident.

In this inteview he basically says Evelyn was not a ride or die chick like she was supposed to. They had a 10 year relationship until the recession and he lost all of his money, that's when she left.

But Evelyn took to Twitter to defend herself and she says she left him because he cheated

Tami Roman Hints 'Basketball Wives: Miami' Has Quietly Been CANCELLED

VH1 has not made an official announcement about the future of Basketball Wives: Miami. Season 5 ended almost a year ago without a reunion.

But it seems like the show has quietly been cancelled. Tami kinda let the cat out the bag with this tweet. She tweets "I've heard the dead rises.. you never know" basically hinting that the show was cancelled but maybe resurrected in the future.

Matt Barnes' Aunt Gets Murdered and Asks Followers To Find Killer

Gloria Govan's husband Matt Barnes, who both, appeared on both Basketball Wives series, is facing a nightmare. He reveals that his aunt was murdered by her estranged husband Michael Williams and he is turning to social media to find find him.

He writes

"This dude stabbed my auntie in the neck last week & left her for dead on the sidewalk, she ended up dying on the way to the hospital in the ambulance," Barnes alleged. "If you hv any info on his where abouts contact the #SacPD #SacramentoWeNeedYourHelp #RIPTang."

E Online  reports a neighbor dialed 911 saying a woman was lying on the ground and yelling. His aunt later died in the hospital.

It seems whoever appears on 'Basketball Wives' ends up in divorce. We had Jennifer Williams, Eleyn Lozada, and most recently Malaysia Pargo. Now Meeka Claxton joins that list.

Meeka, who only appeared on the 3rd of Basketball Wives: Miami has revealed in a new article for Think Pyunk.com that she is getting a divorce from her husband who is Craig 'Speedy' Claxton after 8 years of marriage.


“‘Our next chapter will be our best chapter…’ This was my promise to my daughters as I looked them in their big brown eyes and explained as best I could that mommy and daddy could not be together anymore,” she wrote. “After 16 years together, 8 years of marriage, living in 7 different cities, 2 beautiful daughters and a championship, unfortunately, Speedy and I have decided to separate.”

“For the last 10 months I have fought hard for my family because I didn’t get married to get divorced. I love Craig (aka Speedy) and our family more than anything,” Meeka wrote. “Giving up doesn’t always mean you’re weak. Sometimes it means you are strong enough and smart enough to let go and move on.”

She speaks to Yahoo about joining a TV show that is not reality TV

"I think Halle understands the world that I come from. She was familiar with me being an actress for the past 15 years and then making a return to reality TV and a lot of people not understanding," Roman tells Yahoo TV. "'She may have started on reality, but she's been working successfully as an actress for 15 years, andBasketball Wives is not indicative of her body of work.' She knew the scrutiny that I came under for Basketball Wives, and I think she just wanted to help me get back into scripted programming and be classed as acting rather than [in] the reality aspect of things."

TMZ reports her daughter found her passed out and called 911. She has been released from the hospital and currently resting.

Reality: Evelyn Lozada has given birth to a healthy baby boy early Saturday morning. She announced she was 6 months pregnant late last year with Dodgers player and her fiance Carl Crawford.

OK! Magazine reports she had a natural birth and her baby weighed 8 lbs. No word yet what's the name of the baby.

Evelyn has released a statement regarding her birth

"I'm literally on cloud nine! My baby boy is so handsome and I'm so geeked! I have been waiting for this little man to arrive and seeing his beautiful face is breathtaking. Thank God he came out quick"

Reality: What is Tami Roman now that Basketball Wives: Miami has been hiatus? She recently did a new interview with  Chicago Tribune that her and the other cast members are working on separate projects. She says she filming a pilot for a potential spin off show called The Roman Empire and also says she another TV show in the works or CBS.

“My focus is on my own spinoff called ‘Roman Empire.’ We are taping this week for an hour pilot and then going forward from there. My focus is getting this storyline about my life in development and making it something VH1 is proud of and brings in viewers. … I have a TV show coming this summer that CBS has asked us not to talk about. It’s with a very well-known and respected Academy Award-winning star. People get to see me back in the lane I was in before returning to reality TV.”

She also says if 'Basketball Wives has a season 6 she will be part of it

“If the show were to make a return, then I’m contractually bound to be a part of it,” Roman said. “I think the key players in our installment — everyone is doing their own thing. Evelyn Lozada is a mommy now. That part of her life may not necessarily work with the ‘Basketball Wives’ format. Potentially, she might have a spinoff in the works.

According to TMZ today she wants her kids to be on her new reality show whoich begins to film in January but her ex husband Shaq is against it and the courts favored him over her. She claims that the new show will be a wholesome show but with how 'Basketball Wives was the courts was not convinced.


She now claims that he is holding her reality show hostage for 1 Million because his reality show failed to make it on TV. Does this mean Basketball Wives s over or is this just a new spin off show?

Celeb: Evelyn Lozada has revealed to OMG Insider the father of her unborn baby. She announced two weeks ago that she was six months pregnant and some folks speculated it was Chad.

She tells them that the father of her unborn baby is LA Dodgers Carl Crawford. The two have been quietly dating over half a year now and he is the 3rd athlete  from a different sport she is dating.

I wonder is this is real reason why there was no reunion show for season because she was already pregnant. I also wonder if she will return to Basketball Wives if there is another season with this story line even if she said she won't do anther season.
