Money Hungry - Episode 6 Recap

Money Hungry - Episode 6 Recap

This episode of Money Hungry was really good all thanks to Phillip. In this episode Phillip wants the run the house by playing both sides to the alliance, it was epic.

The episode started when someone messed with Phillip's microphone. He was so pissed off about it. Someone hanged the mic somewhere downstairs. He found that it was Mission Slimpossible: Phillip was really pissed off at them for doing that.  That is when Phillip was tired of people thinking that he was weak. He wanted to prove to them he could be a treat to them. So he had a plan so Flabolous can safe this week. he was very sneaky. He told The Orphanage alliance that he wants to be part of them.  They talk about how they want to get ride of No Excuses. But they had no idea that Phillip was playing both sides the two alliances.

This weeks challenge they had put together a big puzzle. The boxes looks really heavy to me. For the first time The Slenderellas won and were the heavies. Dan Cortese also them that the house vote was back as well, since last week there no house vote. The sucked the most was The Regulators they did not know how to put together the puzzle. So they were in last place which means that they were up for elimination.

Phillip and The Orphanage alliance tries to convince The Slenderellas to vote for No excuses. They were considering to vote them. The Regulors were not happy when they found out. They let Josh know about it they had this plan to get rid of Grading Curves. They were cnofident about it because their alliance had more teams but they did not Phillip was playing both sides.

The Slenderellas revealed who they were going to pick for imunuty and of course they chose Flabolous. Grading Curves was very suspicious. about that. So Flabolous was safe thanks Phillip's master plan. At the elimination it turns out Slenderellas gained 5 pounds and The Regulators lost 20+ pounds and they were in the chopping block. With Phillip talking to his mic saying "I run this house" It turns out his master plan worked. It turns out Phillip votes for Mission Slimpossibe so it could be a tie. When the non- Orphanage alliance found out it was tie between Grading Curves and No Excuses they aleady knew that Phillip played them big time.

No Excuses was the team that went home. But next week everybody is going to gain up on Phillip for what he did.

Money Hungry- Episode 5 Recap

Money Hungry - Episode 5 Recap

Here is the 5th episode recap of Money Hungry. Joe (Mission Slimpossible) talks to Grading Curves about the unbalance numbers in the alliances. Marilu (Chicago Deep Dish) is not worried about it since her team has been working out everyday. However Phillip on the other hand says instead of working out, he wants to live it up.

Meanwhile Josh (No excuses) has a new crush! He reveals he has a crush on Stephanie (Flabulous) Although Josh's team mate Melissa who has a supposed crush on him seems unhappy with that. He also goes to say that he thinks he is "one of the cutest guys" on the show and he wishes that there were "ugly girls on the show so he won't be crushing on. Um Josh this is  weight loss show not a dating show.

The teams went to a... cookie shop for their next challenge. To me this was one of the weirdest challenges. The teams were like WTF? we are in a weight loss show and we are in a bakery? that is torture. Dan explains the challenge to them. Each team will be given a tray of dozen cookies One team member plays the role has the cookie eater and the other as the tray holder. They had an option to eat all the cookies to make the tray lighter or not eat the cookies to not sabotage their weight. Like I said very  tricky challenge. Whoever holds the tray for the longest period of time are the big heavies. Jackie (Slenderellas,) and Po (Regulators)  decided to eat the cookies while the others did not. Then was down to The Regulators and Mission Slimpossible.
Then all of a sudden Po (The regulators) felt like he vomiting because he ate 12 cookies. So he went outside to vomit, while he did that his teamate Dave ended up winning for the Regulators. Oh I forgot to mention this time everyone is in the chopping block. The Regulators grant immunity and had to pick someone wlse for immunity as well.  Back at the house Dave gave Josh advice on how to woo Stephanie. Dave says that "all girls like to be picked up off their feet because they like to feel small"

Their next workout was at the beach! Phillip hated the workout and needed to talk to The Regulators to pick his team for immunity. He complains about getting sand in his fat rolls. Josh also explains to Melissa that he likes Stephanie and plans to buy her flowers. Melissa was not too happy with that. "I'm not jealous but if he send her flowers, there will be war" The Regulators also called their alliance for a meeting to discuss their immunity issue. Phillip kept it blunt and just said "I want immunity" Meanwhile Chicago Deep Dish has been working their but off, which does not turn out that way at the end (hint hint)

Then doorbell rang, Josh got his flowers but he ended up giving to Melissa instead of Stephanie because he knew that it would have made her sad and angry if he gave it to Stephanie. She was so happy. The Rugulators made their choice on who to choose immunity, but it turns out they chose NO ONE. Everyone was pissed especially Phillip. The reason why they did not chose no one was because they saw some teams slacking and not working out. They want them to stay on point with their work outs.

Elimination time. Like I said before everyone was in the chopping block, it was all about the weight now. At first The Slenderallas had the teh lowest percentage with 0.87 but that change when Flabolous went up and lost 0.49. I thought that they were going to be eliminated but it turns out Chicago Deep Dish was eliminated by 1 pound by Flaboulous. they had 0.48. Bridget said this is "messed up" because they were the ones who have been working their but off and they get eliminated.

Also in the confessional Josh revealed to Stephanie that he had a crush on her and gave her a flower. That was sweet.

VH1access Interview: Beth - Rocker Mom (Money Hungry)

This is my first exclusive interview with a cast member from Money Hungry. I did an interview with Beth who was on the Rocker Moms from Money Hungry. She is the blonde wit the glasses.

We discussed about her time on the show. She says it was an "opportunity of  a lifetime" She also says being on a reality show was "surreal"  you have cameras around you even when your sleeping. She is rooting for The Orphanage alliance in which Rocker Moms was part of. She also says that Josh from No Excuses was a douche on the show. Follow her on twitter

VH1access: Hello Beth thanks for doing this interview.
Beth: What a pleasure, thank you! Carrie can also be found on twitter @RockerMomCarrie if you want to get in touch with her! Also I can get you pictures this week if you want them.

VH1access: How was your experience being on this show?
Beth: I loved being a part of Money Hungry! It was hard to be away from my family for 3 weeks but it was an opportunity of a lifetime to say the least! I loved the people, truly. The cast and crew were amazing to work with. It was amazing to be a part of something so unique. I will treasure this experience forever.

VH1access: How was the audition process?
Beth: I was just excited to get to go up to Chicago to meet with casting directors. It was a lot of fun! The hardest part was finding out I needed to raise the 10k!

VH1access: How did it felt like being in a reality show?
Beth: It was so surreal. I tried to prepare myself for cameras all around but I had no clue what it was REALLY like. I remember the first night almost running away from them! I will never forget climbing into bed and hearing the camera move to follow me--then 10 minutes later peeking out of my covers only to see a man with a camera a foot away from my face! Very strange! Also, you are truly on production time. It is like being a little kid being told what to do and when to do it. I am so used to "bossing" others around (my children) --to being the one being bossed. I do not think you forget the cameras are there but you start not to care!

VH1access: Did you get along with any of the other teams?
Beth: I did. Some more than others of course. I think it is natural for alliances to form. That is how "real" life is. We cling to people that we hit it off with. I felt lucky being a part of the Orphanage group (Slimpossible, Nuts, Grading Curves, Chicago Deep Dish)--they were a strong group of people. Hilarious people that I would want to hang out with outside of the house. Everyone had a big personality for sure--and I did like everyone--just not living with some!

VH1access: Many people out there think that "Pair Of Nuts and Jamie from Roll Models was on this show to get TV time. What are your thoughts about that?
Beth: I think we were ALL there to be on t.v. I mean, why go on a reality show if it is not to be seen? I do think it was a little intimidating at first seeing people that were enjoying the camera so much when I felt terrified. I felt they were comfortable putting themselves out there for everyone to see and I was nervous, almost shy at that prospect of the world seeing my weight. In hindsight I would enjoy the process more and laugh more at myself and the silliness of the show. I was on a fat show for heavens sake! But to begrudge them for trying to further their careers? Hell no. I would love for this to GIVE me a career! And you know what? Jamie and The Nuts made for great television!

VH1access: Let's talk about Josh (No Excuses), he seems like a backstabber from watching the show.
Beth: Uh, yes. Josh wasn't afraid to even throw his own partner under the bus. I felt a bond with Josh and Melissa right from the get go. We talked and stratigized almost immediately. I believed his word was good, and I could not have been more wrong. When he voted to keep Jamie he betrayed Carrie and I. You do not see it on the show but I had it out with Josh a few times. He put us in an awkward position to choose sides in the house. What it comes down to is Josh divided the house before he ever had to--it was terrible game play. I feel like in the end--yes it came down to the scale--but the Rocker Moms would have never been on the chopping block if it were not for him. He made a lot of enemies in the house. For some reason Josh got way too big for his britches. I have no doubt he is a nice guy in "real life"--but as for the game he was a total douche.

VH1access: Was there a lot of drama that went on that we did not get to see?
Of course! It appears that Rocker Moms are sweet all the time, just go with the flow kinda girls. Our motto now is "I am not a nice girl, I just play on on t.v." You do not see everything that is for sure. They show what they want to show. Lets be honest you can only show so much in one hour. Slimpossible trying to get people to switch their votes is a lot more entertaining than me trying to persuade people I suppose. I get that. However, I wish I didn't look so spineless. I am not a girl (nor is Carrie) that goes down without a fight.

VH1access: What are your thoughts on Dan Cortese?
Beth: Aweeee, I love Dan! Seriously, he must be one of the nicest, most sincere guys in Hollywood. He would literally sneak to talk to us and get to know us. He was so genuine. He was funny, charming--can you tell I adored him?

VH1access: Were you disappointed that you were eliminated on the show?
Beth: Of course I was. I felt like I let a lot of people down. We had sponsors that gave their money, friends that pitched in, we sold anything and everything we could for Carrie and I to go. So yes, disappointed is not a strong enough word. It almost haunts me to this day thinking what I could and should have done. Maybe I could be 100k richer.Normally I think everything happens for a reason. This has been extremely challenging to accept and figure out the reason though! But it was bittersweet. I missed my family tremendously while I was gone. My 7 year old daughter said to me when I got home, "I don't care if you are fat or skinny! I am so glad you are HOME!"

VH1access: Doing this show, did it kept more motivated to lose more weight after your eliminated?
Beth: Oh yes. Talk about the ultimate accountability! I may not be losing as fast as I would like--or as fast as I could have at the show, but I am doing it. I am making myself a priority and taking care of my body. I know this is my time. It is now or never.

VH1access: Thank you so much for doing this interview. Do you want to give a shout out to anyone?
Beth: Oh thank you! Truly it is a pleasure! I would like to thank my fellow Rocker Mom Carrie (the ONLY person I could have ever done this with), my sweet supportive husband, my children, and the friends and family that supported me. Also all of our sponsors: Reality Wanted, Boudoir Noir, Levy & Sons, Scrap Brats, Innovative Pain and Wellness and Poop Happens.

Money Hungry- Episode 4 Recap

Money Hungry- Episode 4 Recap

Episode 4 is so far is the best episode. This show reminds me of I Love Money 2 with the alliance wars. A lot of backstabbing too.

So The Family alliance which is No Excuses, Regulors,Slenderella, Flaboulous and Double Chocolate discuss how they are going crush The Orphanage alliance. Their challenge for this week involved a swimming pool. Marilu (Chicago Deep Dish) was freaking out, she reveals she does  not know swim and that this one her fears. In the water there was bunch

In the water there were bunch of balloon floating int he water that matched the teams colors. This was basically a target game. They had to eliminated the other by taking their balloon and attach it to a frame at the other side of the pool. The last team swimming will be the Big Heavies. The Orphanage alliance were aiming towards The Flabulous. While The Famil Alliance was aiming towards Pair Of Nuts. Marilu overcame her fear and it turns out she is a good swimmer. Turns out Regulators wont he challenge and Pair Of Nuts was up for elimination. The were eliminated first. Phillip was so happy about that and he let them know about it.

Misson Slimpossible has to find a way to change the vote since the other alliance will have the majority of the vote.So they target The Rugulators. Joe (Mission Slimposible) speaks with Dave (The Regulators) asking him if all the teams will vote off Misson Slimpossible. Dave tellsthem that a lot of the teams are pissed off at their bullying attitude. Joe tells him he thought he had an agreement on that past episode where they would not vote eachother off but Dave THINKS Mission Slimpossible betrayed them by goign to Double Chocolate telling them to vote off The Regulators. They turn out to have an argument.

Their fitness trainer tells them that instead of using the gym to work out, they have dance off as a work out. A special guest will arrive and Phillip thinks it is Lady Gaga lol. Um yeah Lady Gaga who is a BIG star is going to appear on a VH1 weight loss show. It was funny though. It was someone name Kenya. Phillip said "That is not Lady Gaga!" lol  Phillip was doing his thing ans he had a dance off with Joe from Mission Slimpossible Phillip says " I pop, lock and drop like a Pussycat Doll"

Soon after that, there was more drama between Mission Slimpossible and The Regulators. Joe calls Po (Regulators) a "fat f***" across the pool and they got into it. Misson Slimpossbile wanted to leave the house, so they pack up all their stuff and left. 15 Minutes later, they came back and decided they were not going to quit. Grading Curves has a problem of them yelling at the girls at the house. Phillip tells them "I will tell a girl to shut the f*** up, if that's how I feel" Dave asked Double Chocolate if Misson Slimpossible really asked them to vote off The Regulators. The told him to vote off No Excuses not The Regulators. So Dave felt like an idiot about it so, he went up to Joe and called it truce, but hat did not last long. It was time for elimination. Regulators chose Double Chocolate for immunity. It turns out Regulators bit Mission Slimpossible's apple which means they voted them out after they Mission Slimpossible told them if you don't vote for us, we won't vote for you.

Pair of nuts were up int he chopping block they decided to show their... pair of nut.. Mission Slimpossible was the team that was picked for elimination but the plan totally backfired on them they lost 19 pounds and 4.00% of their body. Regulators face expression was priceless! . so that means they were safe and Pair of nuts was eliminated. But Misson Slimpossible's new plan was to get rid of EVERYONE now.

Money Hungry- Episode 3 Recap

Money Hungry- Episode 3 Recap

Here is the episode 3 recap of Money Hungry.. Tricia from the team Grading Curves was furious with Josh (No Excuses) becausethe votes were too close between Roll Models and Grading Curves. She tells him that he is a "roomate traiter filthy pig".. ouch!  But in the commentary he acted like he was proud of it, Like I said before, he is the "Tailer Made" of Money Hungry. Tailer Made was like that on I Love Money 2.

Meanwhile Pair Of Nuts was so fed up the foods they have been eating , like Oatmeal. Then Mark (Mission Slimpossible) talked to Dave (Regulators) about forming an alliance with them. Dave went along with but he calls them "the Godfather" because they seem like that they forcing him to join their alliance. All the teams were ready for their next challenge which was called " Chubby Chase"  it was like a track challenge. The

teams had to ran and catch up with the tea in front of them. Once they do this, they had to pull a flag from the other teams pocket, which causes them to lose. At the end Mission Slimpossible won the challenge. Which means they were granted immunity for this week. Flabolous were in last place which means they were in the chopping block. Pair Of Nuts knew tha they were safe because  Mission Slimpossbile and them in alliance together.

Since Josh was a target,  he moved from "The Orphanage" to Jaimie's old bedroom. Then Phillip calls "Fat Daddy" which is his grandfather. He is the one that put up 10,000 for them to appear on this show. We also find out that his grandfather is in the hospital for the 3rd time in three weeks. He has had heart attacks and strokes. Phillip feels that he is following teh same footsteps as his grandfather. Phillip injects himself with insulin, just like his grandfather.

So meanwhile at the hot tube, Dave (Regulators) over hears "The Orphanage" (which is Pair Of Nuts and Mission Slimpossible alliance) are  talking smack about the other teams. They are saying they "run this shit, not them" Mission Slimpossible wants to get rid of Josh (No Excuses) So at the gym he talks to Dave (Regulators) who is int he treadmill, and Joe (Mission Slimpossible)  tells him to vote off No Excuses. Dave

was not having it. He says to him "is that a threat?" he thinks the way he is treating him is  a bit bossy. So Joe was not having it, he reported it back to "The Orphange" and considers changing their vote since The Regulaters are not listening to them. Mark persuades Phillip for his vote and Joe tells Josh that now they are voting off The Regulators. Josh thinks it sounds like a threat. He also refers them as the "New York mob" and of course Josh spills the beans to The Regulators about what Joe told him. Dave (The Regulators) decides to confront Joe (Mission Slimpossible) about it. Joe tells him his move is all about strategy. Then he takes  a bite out of an apple which is the show voting system.

Now Josh thinks that the teams who are NOT in The Orphanage alliance team up, they can have the power to take them down. It was time to vote. Mission Slimpossible chose Pair Of Nuts (which isn't surprising).

Then the teams took a bite of an apple which is their vote. Then it was elimination time. Flabolus was in danger of being eliminated since they finished last on the challenge, so they were in the chopping block. Mission Slimpossible felt like they got this one in the bag, they were certain that No Excuses was going to eliminated. Well it turns out

they they were safe! Rocker Moms got eliminated instead.  The other teams now call themselves. The non-Orphanage Alliance. This should be interesting!

VH1 interviews Jamie (Roll Models) from Money Hungry

Jamie who was on the team Roll Models on Money Hungry did a post show interview with VH1.com She talks about her time on the show, why she was a prime target. She also says that she was a bit insecure going to the hot tub with four men and that her tears were real. She also adds that she will "leave the door open" for Josh, since he has a crush on her.

How was the Money Hungry experience for you overall?
Overall, it was a good experience. It was very surreal to be followed by cameras all day long.  I would do it again, you know, but maybe with different circumstances.

Obviously you were a prime target. Why do you think so many people had nasty things to say about you?
I didn’t do anything to be targeted the way that I was. Something happened behind the scenes of production early on that had a negative effect on the way others in house viewed me and I think that ultimately led to me to be a target and led my team being on the chopping block. I’m not at liberty to discuss the details of what goes on behind the scenes. But that was the initial reason why I was targeted.

So it was out of your control?
Completely out of my control. Something that was not my fault. Something that happened with production. That was the initial reason why we were targeted.  Additionally, Bridget had a problem with me apparently from Day 1, and I think that ultimately she just didn’t give me a chance. I think ultimately they saw me doing my own thing. They saw me enjoying myself. They saw me dancing and not being ashamed of my body and maybe they were a little bit jealous that they couldn’t feel so free, that they couldn’t feel so good about themselves. Shanté and I went on the show partly to show that you could feel beautiful at any size. It’s our mission to show women everywhere see that they can feel beautiful regardless of shape, size or color.

Do you feel people misconstrued that? A lot of people on the first episode where saying that you weren’t there for the right reasons because of your modeling and your entertaining.
I was absolutely there for the right reasons. And who is to say what the right reasons are for being on a reality show? Everybody in that house was there to be on television. There are so many other ways that you could put $10,000 to use to lose weight that does not involve being on TV. Anybody that was in that house was there to be on a TV show regardless of what their own specific reasons were. I was there to lose weight and to inspire and entertain people because that’s what I do. I am an entertainer. And I want to touch people doing that

How much weight did you end up losing?
I personally wound up losing 18 lbs. in the first two episodes.

That’s pretty good, right?
Yes and actually, it upset me to watch the show and for people to say that all I was doing was dancing the whole time to lose weight. I worked my butt off, doing machines, doing the treadmill. I did so much more than dancing and it showed on the scale. I had one of the highest number percentages of weight loss out of any girl in the house, both weeks that I was there. So I was absolutely there for the right reasons. And then Tricia, Missy and Bridget calling me ugly? I mean, take a look in the mirror and into your own soul and then see who’s ugly. I couldn’t believe the things Tricia and Missy were saying about me considering that they’re teachers. They should be more mature than that.

How humiliating was the hot-tub situation, when you flirted with a tub full of guys in vain?
I was not humiliated at all by what I did in the hot tub. I went in there legitimately to talk Yamil and Johnny to find out who they were going to give immunity to. And when I got there I almost turned back because I was a little insecure getting into the hot tub with four guys on camera. I was embarrassed by how it was edited on TV. Not everything you see on reality shows happens in the exact order or at the exact time it seems on reality shows. That’s part of the editing process. That’s all I can really say about that.

So in other words, it wasn’t as awkward as we had been led to believe?
The scene was not nearly as awkward as people were lead to believe. The guys on the show actually all were great to me. The only guy that might have had a slight problem with me was Phillip. But we all know he is kind of a diva himself. The girls were catty. And I was pretty amazed at what Bridget said, because she’s supposed to be a human-resource specialist. She is supposed to give everyone a fair shot from the beginning, and she kind of spearheaded the whole campaign against me. And there was nothing I could do to change her mind. I never said a bad word about anybody on the entire show. My whole mission on the show was, and my whole mission in life is to show people the beauty that’s within themselves. So for people to be judging me for being ugly on the inside is absurd to me and pretty hurtful.

What about Josh? He was clearly interested in you.
I think what Josh did for me was amazing. He is such a sweet guy, totally a diamond in the rough. And I knew at some point that he had a crush on me. Initially I had been hoping that he and his partner Melissa were going to get together because they look like a cute couple. But then I found out that he had a crush on me. And I think he’s great! I think he’s very sweet. And we talk now on Facebook often.

But you don’t like him like that?
I’m going to leave the door open.

Really?
Yeah! I’ll leave the door open.

I was confused about the situation with Shanté’s relative. It seemed that her grandmother had passed away but it also seemed to that her husband’s grandmother had passed because she said, “Tony’s grandmother passed away.”
Shanté’s husband’s grandmother passed away but it was as if Shanté’s grandmother had passed away. She was very close to her. I was emotional, just because of the stress of the house and because I love Shanté. She is one of my best friends. And for her to be in pain makes me sad. The tears in the Jacuzzi were 100 percent real. The tears in the confessional were 100 percent real.

Speaking of being an actress, and a singer and an entertainer, were you happy with the level of exposure you got at the show?
I was happy to get exposure on the show. I was not happy with the kind of exposure I got with the singing and the dancing. I had been a trained dancer for years. I’ve danced professionally; I sing professionally. I am much better than the clips that they chose to put out there. But I can’t blame them. They want to tell a story so they are going to try to make me look like I’m crazy for thinking that I’m talented. Is that embarrassing? Yes. But anyone who has seen me perform, for real, knows that I am much more talented than what was shown on the show. And I think that’s also a reason why some of the girls were jealous. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with A Pair of Nuts going on the show partially to promote their comedy. If you have something to share with the world you should be proud to share it.

So you’re out $5,000 at least, $10,000 for your team. Does that hurt?
Well, it hurts to be out the money because we got it from corporate sponsors and we had a responsibility to our sponsors and their time got cut short, largely due to reasons that not within my control. I had hoped going into it that people would be eliminated solely based on their weight…

That would have been like a more traditional kind of weight loss show.
Yeah, exactly. Because we probably could have won. Because we had the second highest percentage weight loss the first week and the third highest percentage the week we were eliminated. But when they threw the curve ball at us, it was like, oh my gosh. This changes it. This changes everything. And you know, when they threw the curve ball at us it was like “Wow, maybe I shouldn’t have let myself shine as much or be as openly me as much because it’s causing animosity from some of the female contestants.” But then again I don’t think you should let yourself shine any less to make others happy. That’s kind of what they were hoping to do.

Is there anything else you wanted to talk about?
I would love to share with you that now Shanté and I are holding sessions with teenage girls about their self-esteem and their body image. We’re starting with one of our sponsors, Camp Shane, and its really rewarding and touching to be able to help these girls feel better about themselves and realize that they’re beautiful now, to make them realize the same things that make them beautiful now will make them beautiful when they lose weight and they would still be beautiful if they gained weight. Those things don’t change. The problem with people’s negative self-esteem does not magically go away when you lose 80 lbs. If you don’t love yourself now, you’re not going to love yourself when you lose weight. And so that’s why it’s so important to spread the message that you are beautiful at any size and we are really, really happy with the work that we are doing with them. Watching the show I was really hurt by all the negative things the girls were saying about me. But if I let that affect my self-esteem, they would win. The show was kind of like a big test for me. If I am going to be talking about self-esteem and body image, I can’t let a few catty girls on reality show destroy my self-esteem. I have to be able to walk the walk and not just talk the talk.

Money Hungry- Episode 2 Recap

Money Hungry- Episode 2 Recap

Episode 2 has some drama! It was a good episode here is what happened. The teams did their first challenge. Whoever won will be dubbed as "The Big Heavies and will grant immunity and also choose another team to be safe. They had push a big ass ball up the hill. The team that won was "Pair of nuts" the that came second was "Mission Slimpossible"  The team was last place was "Double Chocolate" which means that they were up for elimination.

The host revealed to them they had to vote one more team for elimination. Everyone was a bit surprised by that. The Grading Curves who has an alliance with "Pair Of nuts" No Excuses" and Mission Slimpossible" want to get rid of "Roll Models" they think that  Jamie is on this show for her pus size career. They want to get rid of her. But Josh is like the "Tailer Made" of this show he secretly tells Jamie that they want to get rid of her team and she was not going to have it.

Also her team mate Shante got phone call that her grandma passed away and that gave Jamie the perfect opportunity to do whatever it takes to save her team. First went to the jucuzzi with the guys and TRY to flirt with them, to charm her way to be safe but it did not work.  Then she did the crying thing about Shante's grandmother passing away. Phillip saw the whole thing and he was not buying it.

The Grading Curves spoke their mind about what they thought about Jamie. She started to cry, she is a very emotional woman. The teams had to pick which team should be up for elimination by eating an apple. Pair Of Nuts chose mission Slimpossibe to be safe from elimination. The Grading Curves got 5 votes while Roll Models got 6 votes. The Grading Curves was mad that they had so much votes and now they suspect they have backstabbers ( Josh) Roll Models were eliminated and Double Chocolate was safe because Roll Models had the lowest percentage of body fat.

This was a good episode, not people not going to Josh and his team No Excuses.

Money Hungry's Pair Of Nuts was on TV before

Money Hungry's "suspicious" team Pair Of Nuts appeared on TV before! I guess some folks are right about them being on Money Hungry just to be on TV and probably just to boost their comedy career. Back in 2008 they appeared on a Spanish channel in South America called Mega TV. the same channel Caliente from For the Love Of Ray-J was a host for a show. They were on a Spanish talk show.
They also have a website called nutscomedy.com

Fort Wayne’s Elizabeth Culp, third from left on the couch, is one of 24 weight-loss contestants on “Money Hungry.”
A local mom is in the thick of a battle over thickness on a new VH1 reality show called “Money Hungry.”
Actually, the battle is technically over, but completed episodes of the show have just started airing Mondays at 9 p.m.
So let’s talk about it as if it’s all happening in real time.
Fort Wayne’s Elizabeth Culp is one of 24 weight-loss contestants living in a Los Angeles house on the show, which is a far cry from anything that Jillian Michaels hosts or has hosted.
In “Money Hungry,” 12 teams have each put $10,000 into a pool with the understanding that the winners (meaning, the team that loses the greatest percentage of overall weight) take all.
But this isn’t the sort of show in which a drill sergeant screams the pounds off. In fact, the house is continually filled by VH1 saboteurs with junk food, Culp says.
“We walked into the house and there was a popcorn machine and a vending machine full of candy,” she says. “And the cupboards were stuffed with every kind of junk food imaginable.”
In addition, Culp says, gofers are always on standby.
If there’s a kind of food that the contestants want and it isn’t already in the house, she says, the gofers will get it for them.
Weekly challenges eliminate contestants “Survivor”-style.
“It’s a different kind of competition,” Culp says. “The choices are for the competitors to make.”
“Money Hungry” took Culp away from her Fort Wayne family for two months.
She cannot, for obvious reasons, disclose the outcome of the show.
Culp says she auditioned for it because her attempts to lose weight up to that point had always ended in failure.
“There’s no bigger accountability than being on national television,” she says.
Culp says her husband, Dave, has always supported her in all her endeavors.
“My (husband has) been wonderful,” she says. “He’s my biggest cheerleader. He has always loved me regardless of what size I am.”
Culp is perhaps best known locally as the co-owner with her husband of “Poop Happens,” a pet waste removal service.
Elizabeth Culp grew up in Portland, Ore., but she and her husband moved back to his hometown of Fort Wayne for good four years ago. So enamored did she become of Fort Wayne that she even moved her parents here.
“I love it so much,” Culp says. “We’re had the opportunity to buy our own home here, which on the West Coast is not always a realistic thing for a family to try to do.”

Money Hungry Premiere Party Pics

Here are a couple of pics that Phillip from Money Hungry sent me of the premiere party of the show.

Money Hungry mansion is the same mansion from Bad Girls Club 4

Did you guys noticed anything familiar about the mansion from Money Hungry? That is because it is the same mansion from Bad Girls Club season 4. I always wondered what ever happened to that mansion? Giant sized French fries and hamburgers at the Bad girls Club 4 mansion LMAO

Money Hungry Premiere Recap

Money Hungry- Premiere Recap

When I first heard about this show, I wasn't sure if I would watch since it was another weight loss show. Then when I found out that it is produced by 51 Minds then I decided to watch it. Turns the premiere was pretty good thanks to Phillip who obviously the star of this show. This show is better than Bridal Bootcamp because it has REAL fat people in it.

The contestants were at the bus arriving at the mansion which by the way the same mansion of Bad Girls Club 4 and the entertainment already starts. The bus got stuck and would not go so that was funny, but they arrived  and the mansion had food all over. It had a giant size hamburger, french fries, shakes ect  The host arrived he tells them the only they will be doing today is working out.

Before that, we get introduced to the teams:

Jackie & Kaitlin- Slenderellas
Mark & Joe- Mission Slimpossible
Po & Dave - Regulators
Beth & Carrie - Rocker Moms
Marilu & Bridget - Chicago Deep Dish
Tricia & Missy - Grading Curves
Georgette & Tammy - Double Chocolate
Denise & Katie- Family Sized
Melissa & Josh - No Excusers
Johnny & Yamil - Comdey Duo
Shante and Jamie -Roll Models
Stephanie & Phillip - Flabulous

Before the work out they had a feast, every possible food you could imagine and they all began eating. After that Phillip began to be drunk and wasted and Stephanie did not like that. He tells her "You are not my mom" she stormed off and then Phillip went after her saying "I am sorry" and then when entertainment begins. They were all at the pool, Phillip was wasted and he went to the jacuzzi took off his shorts lol  and just acting crazy.

Then Mark and Joe showed up with just a speedo on. Couple of the girls questioned if they were just there for TV. Next day they did the work out. Phillip was disappointed with himself that he got so big. At the elimination it was between The Flabolous and The Grading Curves. Tricia and Missy were eliminated a.k.a the Grading Curves.

Vh1 Money Hungry Phillip Funny Animated Pics

We’re used to seeing larger-than-life personalities on reality TV, but no one has quite fit that plus-size description as well as Money Hungry’s Phillip (one half of Team Flabulous). His drunken, rhythmic, neck-snapping, flamboyant and just plain buoyant showing in the show’s premiere is nothing short of a revelation. Make sure to tune in Monday at 9/8c to see if he’ll stick around (bringer your prayer books!), and for now, check out our salute to this early breakout in the best online tributary medium there is: the gif wall…
