Drjays.com Believes Tionna Is Wasting Her Time Finding A Man for Chilli

Here we are, season two of VH1′s What Chilli Wants. In case you haven’t noticed, the fact that there’s a season two to begin with means that Chilli has found no man. I kind of went in on the pint-sized TLC member for even participating in a show that really exposes her as nothing more as a shallow middle aged woman whose expectations are probably too high—even for her. So after watching the first episode of season two, I’ve come up with a new outlook on Chilli.
Not only is she shallow, she is also a tad bit too naive.
Season one touched on her relationship with Floyd Mayweather Jr. It appears to be a “friends with benefits” relationship that works for Floyd, but not so much for Chilli. She expressed her adoration for Mayweather as Tionna Smalls scrambled trying to find her the perfect mate. But she was looking right past the fact that Mayweather was the apple of Chilli’s eye the entire time.
So, even after a few near wins, Chilli enters season two back where she started—single and lonely. Only now, Tionna has figured out why Chilli can’t find a man. It was right under her nose the whole time—Floyd Mayweather Jr. Though it appears to be no fault of his own, Chilli has become sucked into the vacuum of charm that Mayweather offers. She pines over this man as if he was the last guy on earth. He doesn’t even fit her laundry list of wants in a man. But alas, she is putty in his hands.
The problem here is that this has become a massive roadblock in Tionna’s job to find Chilli a woman. Chilli shuts down every man she’s with because she wants Floyd…bad.
But the problem is that Floyd Mayweather doesn’t seem to have any interest in becoming her man. His comments spell out everything he’s trying to say: “I dig you, but not like that and I’d rather stay in the friends with benefits zone.”
Every single comment painfully spells this out to Chilli, but you can’t make her see through this smokescreen.
Honestly, she’s too damn old to be falling for this trick. Tionna is trying to do her job in finding Chilli a man, but as long as Mayweather remains in the picture, her job is moot. However, we’re pretty sure that VH1 will get rid of Mayweather if Chilli waits too long and viewers voice their disapproval in her foolishness.
The only person getting the shaft in this ordeal is Tionna. Outside of making some extra loot, Tionna really has no place until Chilli gets her life figured out. Hopefully we don’t have to watch her wrestle with these decisions.

What Chilli Wants Tionna Smalls Opens Boutique

Making the jump from relationship expert to small business owner may seem like a huge career change for some. But for Tionna Smalls, it's one in the same.
You might remember Smalls from the VH1 reality show, "What Chilli Wants," where Smalls played relationship expert to singer Chili of the 90's, all-girl, hip hop group, TLC.
Well, the Brooklyn native last week launched an accessories boutique for women in Bed-Stuy called Lovey's, located at 377 Marcus Garvey Boulevard, between Hancock Street and Jefferson Avenue. The boutique features a wide range of high-end and affordable jewelry, handbags and gifts.
"I love the neighborhood and I love the community of Bed-Stuy," said Smalls. "You can tell there are a lot of people here who are either fabulous or want to be fabulous, and I think I can help them out."
Smalls said that she considers herself a visionary and that vision came in handy when creating Lovey's. After taking over the space, she knocked down the six-foot ceiling and installed a higher one, got rid of the old lighting and removed the rusted and peeling paint on the wall.
The transformation resulted in a space that's fashionably chic, yet fun and playful. Bright pink walls surround the shop and a naked mannequin draped in necklaces stands on one side. Accessories and bags line the side walls and fill the front counter display, while a table full of brightly colored jewelry sits in the middle of the store.
"What's great about how the accessories are setup is that it makes the store look bigger than it actually is," said Smalls. "Even though it's less than 500 square feet, you don't feel cramped walking around here."
The items that Smalls sells at Lovey's are intended to be affordable for the Bed-Stuy community. Nothing is over $100, and most of the bags run for about $30. Several different pairs of earrings are on display for $10 or less. Items also can be returned in the same condition with a receipt for store credit.
In addition to selling accessories, Smalls says she plans to use the space for a series of neighborhood events.
"We're hosting a party for Halsey Street Grill, and I'd love to start having a series of all-women pow-wows and conferences here where we can have some real talk," said Smalls.
From the start of her career, Smalls has always worked for herself. In addition to having her own relationship advice column on Gawker.com, she hosted her own Internet radio show on BlogTalkRadio and released an advice book for women called, "Girl, Get Your Mind Right."

She's now preparing to release her second book and the season-two kick-off of "What Chili Wants" the first week of January 2011.
"With my attitude, I need to be my own boss," said Smalls with a laugh. "This store feels like a natural progression to me because I've always been about helping women. My blog tried to help women with their relationships and now my store will help them look fabulous."

Chilli finds a new man

This might be a spoiler to the new season of What Chilli Wants which airs in December. Chilli was spotted with a Latino man which might be her new man?

It's funny because on the show she says that she is looking for the perfect black man and the end of the show, she ends up with a white guy and now she is with a latino guy.

Did she gave up on the brothas?

Reality TV Matchmaker: 12 Prospective Couples Made in Heaven

This has inspired us to play matchmaker and set up the stars of other reality TV shows.
  1. The whole world, or at least the portion that watches “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” is waiting for Kourtney Kardashian to dump Scott Disick. Maybe they need to go on “Tough Love: Couples” to finally split? And, look at that, then Kourtney could fall in love with Steve Ward. That would be too cute.
  2. Everyone loves Brad from “The Rachel Zoe Project,” so he needs a totally adorbs boyfriend. I’d like to nominate Jai Rodriguez from “Queer Eye For the Straight Guy.”
  3. Or wait, Brad and Johnny Weir, of “Be Good Johnny Weir,” had a total love connection already. They need romance and a spin-off show, stat. Brad could even design Johnny’s costumes.
  4. Antonio Sabato Jr. went on VH1’s “My Antonio” looking for love. Instead, he should have gone on “Dancing with the Stars” and been paired with Edyta Sliwinska. They both have great tans and together would have been the sexiest couple on television.
  5. Ryan Leslie has quickly become one of the most loathed characters in “Real World” history. Which would make him the perfect match for Danielle Staub, once she tires of Lori Michaels. The cougariness of this relationship would definitely attract attention, which is all Danielle really wants.
  6. Sammi Giancola of “Jersey Shore” is no Snooki, but she still deserves someone way better than Ronnie. Might we suggest Doug Reinhardt from “The Hills”? He speaks just as infrequently as Ronnie, has that meathead appeal, but won’t make out with two girls at one time at the club.
  7. Ray J and Chilli of TLC both had VH1 shows that documented their quest to find love. Hello, someone needs to set them up as soon as possible. They have a bit of an age difference, but I think they’d get along.
  8. We are totally obsessed with Andrew Jenks of MTV’s “The World of Jenks.” We think he and Kelly Osbourne would be adorable together. We know she likes long hair—her ex-fiance Luke Worall had a similar crop—and she deserves a super sweetheart since Luke cheated on her.
  9. The most obvious couple ever—Miss J (of “America’s Next Top Model”) and Derek J (the stylist friend of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and a judge on “Hair Battle Spectacular”). Hello, they wouldn’t even have to change their last names.
  10. So, above, we decided that Danielle Staub and Lori Michaels should be over. That’s because we’d rather see her with Jackie Warner of “Work Out.” Who is, uh, not just gay for the publicity.
  11. Which leaves us with Patti Stanger, the “Millionaire Matchmaker,” who recently said goodbye to her fiance. Since she sets up women with millionaires, we think she should aim for a billionaire—like Donald Trump of “The Apprentice.” Please, like Melania will be in the picture for much longer.

TLC's Chilli Talks Single Motherhood

Chris Yandek: This spring on VH1, people had a chance to see singer/performer Chilli -- one third of America's top-selling female group, TLC -- look for love as a single mom on "What Chilli Wants."

The show has been picked up for a second season, and Chilli tells Chris Yandekof CYInterview.com that dating as a famous single mother is tough for both her and the guy who's interested in her. "I mean, it can just be tough either way," she says. "But to me, I look at it like this: I feel like a lot of people will say, 'Oh, you just need to date a regular guy.' I'm like, 'What's a regular guy?' All guys can be regular to me. It's your personality and extraordinary things about you that make you different and special, no matter what you do for a living. But I think that when you do date someone, no matter what business you're in, [if you have a] similar career background, it's a lot easier because you understand what the other does."

Chilli continues, "I think that when you talk about dating a doctor, he's probably not gonna be home all the time, so if he dated someone that was in that field ... someone that really understood those hours and how strenuous it can be, it just makes the relationship a lot better because you don't have a person complaining all the time, saying, 'Well, why do you have to be gone all the time?' You know, that kind of thing."

Chilli came to Yandek for an exclusive interview to tell the world she's never been married. Chilli confides that there is some wrong information out claiming she had been married to Dallas Austin -- her son's father -- and that they subsequently divorced. She wants to clear things up and let the world know she has never been married.

"I would like to set the record straight by saying that there's some wrong information out there, that Dallas Austin, whom I have a son with, and I were married and divorced, and I want to clear that up," she says. "We were never married. I've never been married in my life. We were not engaged, nothing like that. We were in a relationship, but never married or anything like that. Never."

Chris Yandek is the editor of CYInterview, an outlet that features high-profile interviews from Hollywood, sports and newsmakers. His interviews are featured by numerous mainstream broadcast, print and online outlets.
