It seems like there’s never a dull moment when Flavor Flav is around. As an original member of Public Enemyand a regular on the VH1 reality show circuit, Flav has been in the public eye for years keeping it real with his signature clock necklaces and over-the-top personality. Now he’s adding another job to that list: vodka and fried chicken entrepreneur. According toHipHopDX, Flav has stated that the public could get its hands on the various flavors of his vodka line, Le Flav Spirits, as early as January. Even though there hasn’t been a definitive statement on when we can expect to see Flav’s Fried Chicken franchises popping up, Mr. Flav clearly has plans for global fried chicken domination. “The Colonel better watch his back, G! The Colonel might end up in my fryer!” says Mr. Flav.
Amidst Flav’s wacky business news, longtime friend and bandmate Chuck D is keeping the guy focused on more important matters like touring and heading to South Africa to bring hip-hop back to the people. Public Enemy will be hitting Johannesburg on December 3rd before heading over to Australia and New Zealand for a number of dates, including performances at Falls Festival and Field Day.
