Big Ang Opens Up About Her Cancer


Mob Wives star Big Bng is opening up for the first in an exclusive interview with  NYDailyNews.com about her throat cancer. Back in march, doctors discovered that she had a 'lemon size' tumor inside her throat. She already had one successful surgery completed to remove all her lymph nodes on the left side of her neck and has one more surgery to go. She reveals in her interview that she has stage two throat cancer and she fears that her next surgery.

“I feel like I’m in ‘The Twilight Zone,’” Big Ang, whose real name is Angela Raiola, tells The Daily News in an exclusive interview at her house, about a mile from the St. George terminal of the Staten Island Ferry. “I can’t even believe that one day I’m fine and the next day I have Stage 2 throat cancer.”

“I am not one for surgery,” says Ang. “Plastic surgery? OK, 20 years ago. But as I got older, I got scared. I hate anesthesia.”

Yeterday, it was reported that 'Mob Wives' star Big Ang was hospitalized in new York City after doctors discovered that she had  a 'lemon sized' tumor inside her throat. She made a response on Facebook yesterday informing her fans on the ordeal. Today, her sister spoke to TMZ saying the the tumor was cancerous after running a blood test. Another test will be done to determine if the cancer has spread. Big Ang is now scheduled to have the tumor removed next week.

"We are hoping for the best and are focusing on getting through the holiday. We love the fans and want to thank them."

Another reality star has died from cancer. It has been reported this morning that 'I Love New York' star Ahmad Givens (Real) has died from cancer at age 33. TMZ has reported that he passed away last night during a family visit.

'Real World' Star Diem Brown Dies From Ovarian Cancer at 32; MTV Releases Statement

It has been reported early today that 'Real World' star Diem Brown has lost her battle from ovarian cancer at the age 32. PEOPLE confirmed today that she passed this morning at 10:22 AM.



She told the magazine last month

"I want people to know that the fight is worth it," . "And that's something that's so important for me." 

She has been battling the cancer since her early 20's but then the cancer came back in 2012. She spoke about her cancer return to Dr. Drew two years ago talking about her plan to freeze her embryos so she she can become a mother.  This past August, the cancer spread to her liver 


MTV has released an official statement regarding her passing

“MTV is tremendously sad to hear the news that Diem Brown has lost her long battle with cancer,” the network said in a statement. “We send our deepest condolences to her family and friends. Diem was a true fighter and brought passion to everything she touched. We will miss her.”

Joanee Borgella Dies At 32

American Idol contestant Joanne Borgella has passed away early today at the age of 32 from a very rare form of cancer. TMZ reports she had endometrial cancer which attacks which attacks 'the lining of the womb.

Her family released an official statement of Facebook.

She appeared the 8th season of American and the second contestant from the show to die this year. Back in August, American Idol finalist John Michaels also passed away

'I Love New York' star Real (Ahmad Givens) has faced a major setback recently as his cancer came back and it spread to his lungs and liver. Over a year ago, it was initially reported that he had stage colon cancer but the doctors misdiagnosed him and found out he had rectal cancer.  His brother Chance told TMZ that he recently underwent surgery 'to implant a port that will administer  his chemo

Star's Mother Has Cancer

I wanted to make a blog post about this because I had family members who have passed away from lung cancer. You guys might remember Renee who was a contestant on The Entertainer's dating show "Frank The Entertainer.. A Basement Affiar. Her mother has been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and has spread to the brain.  She now has Go Fund Me account and looking ways to promote the page which now has over $1,000. The goal is set for 10K.

For years my mother had been silently suffering. She struggled in pain. She had known that something was wrong with her, but couldn't determine what. Doctors didn't properly diagnose her, and we have no idea how long the cancer has existed. Cancer is very evil, as it can mask itself to be several different kinds of problems. Without proper diagnosis, it only gets worse. On a hot summer day in August my mother suffered a seizure, and had a minor stroke. 

It was then that my family and I received the worst news of our lives, and we learned that all her pain was in fact caused by cancer. But not just any cancer, Stage 4 Lung Cancer that has spread to the brain. Can you imagine the terror of hearing those words? The news of course had devastated us to say the least, and it completely has changed the course of our lives ever since.

'The Game' Star Brittany Daniels Reveals She Had Stage Four Cancer

TV:  The Game fans have seen the return of Kelly Pitts ( Brittany Daniels) for the new season of the show but people wonder why did she left the show in first place? She revealed to PEOPLE Magazine that she had to leave the show for years because she was diagnosed with stage four non Hodkins Lymphoma.

It happened so suddenly,” she told the magazine, noting that she was gearing up for her return to the series when she suddenly began experiencing excruciating back pain, night sweats, and flu-like symptoms. That’s when she went to see a doctor and received the grim diagnosis. Almost immediately Brittany and her mother moved into the guest home of her twin sister, who starred on “Sweet Valley High” with her and the actress began chemotherapy. Today, standing cancer free, Brittany credits her doctor and her family for her recovery.

She now is cancer free and is happy to be back on the show. I remember Tia Mowry was Wendy Williams Show like two ago and I remember Wendy asked Tia was she did leave the show so suddenly and Tia did not give an answer, so she probably knew what was going on.

Reality News: Chance gives us an update on twitter about Real. Back in March, Real was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer and he has been receiving chemo. Chance says Real is tired of all the chemo bit he is getting better.

Real Is Now Receiving Chemo

I Love New York's Real (Ahmad Givens) is now starting chemotherapy. It was reported last week fom TMZ that he was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer At first he thought was the flue but unfortunately it was cancer. 

His rep told US Magazine that he is in "good spirits" but experiencing a lot of pain. The family also set a website for him  to raise money for the hospital bills because his insurance only only covers forty percent of the treatment.

I Love New York's Real Is Diagnosed With Stage Four Colon Cancer

I was shocked by this news today. Apparently Real from I Love New York and Real Chance Of Love has been diagnosed with STAGE FOUR colon cancer. TMZ reported the news today and provided a picture of him in the hospital bed with his two brothers Chance and Micah.  TMZ reports  that he went back to hospital four times and was told something was wrong with his liver.He then was informed that he has stage four colon cancer.

New York took to twitter about the news.
