Matt Barnes Responds To Allegedly Attacking Derek Fisher

Matt Barnes is responding to recent reports that he beat up Derek Fisher who the coach of the New York Knicks and the current man Gloria Govan is now dating. It was reported that Matt Barnes found out that his ex Gloria was now dating Derek and he drove to her house to confront him. He then allegedly beat him and spit in Gloria's face.

Now Matt Barnes is speaking out about what really happened to ESPN
he is saying that he received a text from his son  that made him uncomfortable

“I’m like, first of all, why are you still up? It’s like 10 o’clock at night?’ ” Barnes said. “So I text back, ‘I love you and I miss you, too.” Then I FaceTimed him. I’m just like, ‘Hey, what’s up buddy?'”

“Now, Carter is like the rambunctious one. He’s always jumping off the walls. And when I saw his face, he was just sitting there and I knew something was wrong. I was like, ‘What’s wrong, Carter?’ and he shook his head, ‘No.’ Then he lays his head down on the couch, puts a pillow in front of his face and says, ‘Mommy’s friend Derek is here.’

 “I can’t believe people think I was some maniac driving 95 miles and listening to Tupac to go beat somebody up,” Barnes said. “No. I live 15 minutes away and I was going over to check on my kids because they seemed uncomfortable. That was my main reason for going over there.”

There has have been reports that Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan have been separated for almost six weeks now. TMZ reports that it's all because of 'trust issues' They both still live in the same house though, but TMZ suggest that one of them will eventually move out and head to divorce.

The couples got married back in 2012. Gloria did not want the VH1 camearas at her wedding which caused her to be dropped from the show

Matt Barnes' Aunt Gets Murdered and Asks Followers To Find Killer

Gloria Govan's husband Matt Barnes, who both, appeared on both Basketball Wives series, is facing a nightmare. He reveals that his aunt was murdered by her estranged husband Michael Williams and he is turning to social media to find find him.

He writes

"This dude stabbed my auntie in the neck last week & left her for dead on the sidewalk, she ended up dying on the way to the hospital in the ambulance," Barnes alleged. "If you hv any info on his where abouts contact the #SacPD #SacramentoWeNeedYourHelp #RIPTang."

E Online  reports a neighbor dialed 911 saying a woman was lying on the ground and yelling. His aunt later died in the hospital.

Last year, two got hitched in Las Vegas and did not bother to tell the VH1 producers about it while filming the show's second season. I guess they wanted a traditional wedding. Her sister Laura Govan was a bridemaids. 

Also, according Hollywood Gossip, this wedding event was actually filmed but it's NOT for 'Basketball Wives LA". It seems they are planning a possible spin-off.
