'Where Are They Now?' Interview: Weasel (Daisy Of Love)

What Weasel's Been Up To?

So my first "Where Are They Now?" interview I did is Weasel, who was best known for being on Daisy of Love. In this new interview, he says that Daisy was hardly ever set on her dating show and also says she doesn't even remember who he is. He also talks about getting into shape

Hey Weasel, how are you?

Doing Awesome- Had a rough go with Super Storm Sandy that hammered the Jersey Shore where I live back in Oct- But my house is all repaired and ready for the summer madness to begin in a couple short months- Here is a link to a YouTube video that I put together to give some detail to what happen to the area where I live

So you were best known for being on "Daisy Of Love". What was your fondest memory being on that show?

Fondest memory of the show was the stuff that went on behind the scenes that you didn't get to see on T.V. Had more fun laughing and joking around with the camera and sound people and of course the cast memebers then Daisy. She was hardly on set and with hours to kill in between takes with nothing to do but drink and see what kind of trouble we could get into- And trust me - We found trouble(Right Big Rigg)- Ha Ha

Do you keep in touch with Daisy or any of the guys from the show?

I don't keep in touch with Daisy- Ran into her a couple months after the show aired in Alantic City at a party and she didn't even say hi or rememeber me- WTF-! But did make a lot of good friends with most of the cast members and still keep in touch and get together with Cable Guy, Six Gauge, Chi Chi, Flex, London, Brooklyn and of course Big Rigg as often as we can.

Do people still call you Weasel till this day?

People have stop calling me Weasel- The have shorten it to Wez or Wezzy and I'm glad they did cause I never liked the name Weasel.

You were also on "I Love Money" season 3 which we didn't get to see. What was your best moment from that show?

There was two that stand out the most-Winning the first chanallege and become a team captain and making it to the final episode. No body wanted I Love Money 3 to air more then me- I was looking forward to seeing the reaction of  people when they got to see the smarter side and new in shape Wez that made it to the very end !

So what have you been up to since your VH1 days?

Went back to my normal life living on the water at the Real Jersey Shore and my job as a mechanical engineer- Still partying and being Wezzy both on and off the water on the weekends- Having fun with good friends and just enjoying life-  Have finally settle done with a kick ass chick that I've known for the past 20 years. She is my Ride or Die and I'm happy to say I've finally found a girl that is my partner in crime and that can put up with my crazy ass.

You also drop some weight. What made you decide to get into shape?

After seeing myself on T.V. I was like "God damn I'm fat and out of shape!"-It was a huge reality check for me- Granted I was the oldest memeber of the cast(36 at the time) but I just had to prove to myself that I can get into better shape then the other cast memebers that are 10 years younger then me. I laid off the Jack( Yes Jack ), started eating right and hitting the gym 5 nights a week,  and if I have to say myself I think I have done it! Proof is in the Photo- Not bad for a 40 year old!

Last but not not least, would you ever consider doing reality TV again?

I would pass on another reality dating show but would totally do anything else, espically since I'm in the best shape for my life-

Thank you for this special interview. Would like to add anything else?

Would just like to thank you for asking me for this interview- It's awesome being able to look back on that time in my life and remeber all the crazy shit that I have done then and look forward to all the crazy shit that is ahead of me-

Daisy Of Love's Big Rig's Fighting Video From Bellator 70

Former Daisy Of Love star Big (Jeremiah Riggs)  went toe to toe with Kelvin Tiller and was leading on the scorecards heading into round 3. Late in the third round the ref stopped the fight saying that Riggs submitted to a kimura even though it wasn’t heard on the broadcast. Riggs did make a noise each time he rolled out of danger but apparently the commissioner told the ref he verbally submitted and the fight was stopped. Riggs insisted he didn’t tap or verbally submit after the fight but it was too late and the judges decision was final

VH1access Interview: 6 Gauge ( Daisy Of Love, I Love Money 4 )

Here is the I Love Money post show interview VH1info did with 6 Gauge. This are second interview with them. Follow him on  Twitter

Hey 6 Gauge What is Going on?

Living life enjoying my friends and fans from all over the world. I am in the studio writing a new album with my band and also a solo album as well. Getting ready to shoot the music video for our new single "HOTTER THAN TEXAS". As for work bartending, Djing and hustling you know. Bottom line just taking care of business and hitting the gym

We havent seen you on T.V since Daisy of Love How was that experience?

What an experience that was. A cluster fuck of a cast of straight un ordinary individuals. Bunch of good friends came from the house for sure. It was def an wierd experience to say the least trying to get the attention of a girl and having an endless supply of alcohol with all the time in the world to do nothing but sit around and wait for her

Did you have feelings for Daisy?

Can't have feelings for someone that you don't even or barely know I mean shit I knew more about production and ppl behind the scenes than her. She seems like a cool chick and I have seen her since but friends at most is all that will be there.

Refresh our minds on why you got eliminated?

We where just distant and not connecting on the level to continue to even start a relationship when she was already goo goo eyed on other guys. Kinda get tired of swapping spit ya know....

After Daisy Of Love what did you do?

I came back home got back to work and started recording a new album and playing shows across Texas and doing apperances with a bunch of reality ppl then of course Big Rig and I did a road rip out to Vegas and then La and flat out had no reason except to party along the way.. Having the a great time bottom line

When you got the news about ILM4 Cancelled along with ILM3 how did you feel?

Disgusted to know that one stupid ass mutha fucking piece of shit would have so much control over a network that would cause us to loose airing of a great show and a great cast

Were you called for season 3, there were some rumors running around.

Yes I had the contract and all for that show and was supposed to go but they took big rig instead.

How was filming season 4?

The show was alot of fun except for me getting hurt and causing me to have to depend on other ppl to have my back as I tried to heal up. In the begining it was alot of fun with so many ppl in the house and gettting to know everyone very fast with the heavy influence of alcohol.

VH1 Decided to edit the show over again, what are some stuff we did not see?

There was def alot more confrontations than you saw for sure. Brooklyn super drunk hiding in the closet passing out then waking up and hitting the bottle agian. britanya and marcia fought the entire time the where in site of each other. Fransico and I .... Cornfed throwing my clothes out the house and me flipping beds cause I was pissed. On the 2nd episod the whole reason while my team hated me becouse I was hurt heavily medicated and drunk in which case lost control but thanks to Alex for getting rid of himself lol...Garth and his non ending jokes that keep us somewhat laughing and happy. I could go for days LOL

Who were your favorite castmates and your enemies?

I liked everyone for the MOST part at times I could have wanted to turn the house up side down. Prob my everyday ppl where Cornfed, Mindy, Punisher, Brooklyn, Britanya, Garth, Blondeballer really didn't have any enemies they left before the big probs arised

How do you feel about the ratings have been throughout the season?

I really wish Vh1 would have used our show and gave us a fighting chance. Lack of promoting even 1 commercial for our show and to have better ratings than other show with full on promotions that flat out SUCKED. I think with proper promotions we could have had the HIGHEST rated reality show to date

What have you been up to since the shows?

back to recording new music for my band. Doing apperances getting ready for spring break hosting all the parties in south padre. I have been bartending and djing to make a living and hitting the gym everyday.

Are we going to see the 6 back on TV?

I am a finalist for the focus rally america hoping to start filming in Feb.
http://www.6gauge.com/ for more details on when I will be in your town or on another show along with free new downloads on the site very soon.....

Icon VS Icon Interviews Daisy ( Daisy of Love )

Daisy does an interview with iconvsicon.com . Check it out. She talks about her music and upcoming projects she is working on.

You have a lot of irons in the fire at the moment but I wanted to focus first on your musical side. How did music first come into your life?
I have been involved with music since I was a little kid. It has been a huge part of my life. I have had family members who were in bands, so music has always been around. When I was around 18, I joined an underground goth rock band and toured around the country for about three years and then cut a record with them. The band’s name was called Seraphim Shock. So, I was doing that and I got some sponsorships with Daisy Rock Guitar and created a little following for myself. Then I decided to venture off and do my own solo thing, because my ex-boyfriend at the time was in the band, so it just wasn’t working out. [laughs]

Who are some of your musical Influences?
My biggest influences come from ‘80s music. That is what I grew up on! Luckily, my parents were young rock ‘n’ rollers when I was growing up, so I was lucky enough to grow up listening to Guns ‘N’ Roses, Motley Crue, Poison and all of that really good ‘80s hair metal music. Then of course came Nirvana, which was and still is a huge influence in my life. There is also the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and the Beatles, so I was influenced by a lot of good music!

For those who haven’t heard your music, how would you describe your sound?
My sound is very rock ‘n’ roll! I have five songs out right now. I just released a song called ‘Addicted To Love,’ which I launched on my birthday. I’m very excited about the song because I feel that it is a lot more mature than the other songs that I have written. You can get the song on iTunes. My sound is always rock ‘n’ roll but I hope that it will continue to evolve along the way!

What is the typical songwriting process like for you?
I am really, really busy with a lot of other things in my life, so it is only now that I am beginning to focus more on my music. At first I was very focused on doing the acting thing but the music side kept coming back to me. I sorta do it all — acting, singing, dancing, modeling, creating chaos, whatever! [laughs] I write a lot, everything from music to stories and things like that. Sometimes I will get writer’s block, so I just move from project to project. Inspiration for me is everything! The best inspiration for me, and I know that this isn’t going to sound good, comes to me when things aren’t going so well in my life … things like heartbreak. It is something like that, that gives me a sort of energy or inspiration to write. I tend to write the lyrics and the melody first. I have never had a band but I am very excited to announce that I have formed a band! One of the band members is Chuck Irwin, who is the drummer in Corey Feldman’s band Truth Movement. It is very exciting to have this new outlet for creativity!

Is the formation of the band and your focus on music going to lead to a full album at some point?
Ya know, I am not really sure. I am kinda of the opinion that albums at this point are kinda old fashioned to me because I have always just been able to do a single and put it out on iTunes, which has been really simple. So, I don’t really know at this point but as far as the songs that I do have already, we will be including them along with a couple of covers. I was very excited to do some covers because that is really part of the fun! Going out on tour with Corey Feldman, I would do a few covers from time to time with people singing along. That is when it dawned on me that I didn’t need to have a full, long set and that I could include some really fun covers! I am really excited to include that element as well.

You mentioned touring with Corey Feldman and The Truth Movement earlier this year. What was that experience like?
Corey and I have been friends for a few years now, very close friends. He knew that I did music and that I wasn’t doing a lot this past summer. He was putting together his plan of attack for this year and he told me that he was going out on tour with his band and he asked me to be a part of the tour. I said, ‘Of course, I would love to be a part of that and tour with your band!’ After that I got a little nervous! [laughs] His music is really amazing and his musicians are brilliant. Doing backing vocals is something that I had never really done before, so when I first heard them I was like, ‘Oh God! Can I do this?!’ Then I learned it and it is something that I loved! I was super excited about it! We went out on a tour bus, which was new for me because I had always toured in vans … unless I was touring as a groupie of course! The bus was awesome and I had an amazing time touring with them. Luckily, I already had some experience with touring. It is pretty hard being a girl and touring with a bunch of guys. Guys don’t need all of the stuff that girls need! There were days where I was taking bird baths at Wal-Mart! But I already knew the process, so it was OK! [laughs] It was an amazing adventure and I learned a lot about being a better singer from the others and from Corey’s music. I really think that it helped me strengthen my voice and become a better singer. When I got home, I became really inspired by that whole situation and decided to put a band together, go on tour and do all the things that come with it. It is not 100% the way I had envisioned it back then but it is good. I am actually going to Japan in November to do a performance there. I am really grateful to Corey for taking me out on that tour because I had a lot of fun and I really needed it!

A lot of people recognize you from ‘Rock of Love’ or ‘Daisy of Love’. Those had to be some pretty unique experiences for you. Was it difficult to put yourself out there for the world to see in the reality TV format?
No, it wasn’t because I am a very honest person. To me, it was doing another form of entertainment. I was on reality television where there is no script and they are just following you around with the camera. When you are in that situation, there is a persona that comes out that is bigger than what I am in everyday life because the camera is on me. I enjoyed that and I am glad that people liked it. It became a huge part of my life.

I know you had a book in the works. What is the status of that?
I had a whole bunch of stuff that I was writing but sometimes my life gets really, really busy …

It sounds like it!
[laughs] Yeah! I have so many ideas and I should be writing it all down but I like to think I can keep it all in my head! [laughs] But yeah, I am writing it but it is a really long process for me. I am a very emotional person, so to get all of that stuff out and put on paper is very challenging for me and almost painful at points. But yeah, it will happen! It might happen 20 years from now but it will happen! [laughs] I just feel that I have a lot to tell people about myself and a lot I would like to share with the world. Hopefully, people will be inspired by that. I always think about young girls, kids and people in general and how we all deserve to be happy. We all deserve to have whatever it is that we want. I am slowly being able to learn how to achieve that and I would love to serve as an inspiration for others.

What other projects are on the horizon for you?
I am currently in talks with a network about a possible new show that I may be doing. I am very excited about it and I do believe it is going to happen. It will be something humongous for myself! I can’t really tell you too much about it other than it is something that really ties in and it is something that I had never thought of doing in a millions years! [laughs] So, I am really excited about that! I have also started doing some charity work which I am very, very excited about! One charity is called To Write Love On Her Arms (www.twloha.com). It is a charity that focuses on people who survived or struggled with suicide, depression, drugs or alcohol. I am really excited to be a part of this charity, as they have done some really amazing work. The other charity I am working with is PETA (www.peta.org), we all know PETA! I love animals and I am really looking forward to helping out in any way that I can! I think those are the major things right now. I am the worst promoter of myself! [laughs] I do have a MySpace account and there you can hear the music and check out the latest dates. You can find that at www.myspace.com/daisyrocksmusic.

What is the best piece of advice someone has given you along the way in your career and what is the best piece of advice that you would give to someone getting into the entertainment industry?
I have gotten a lot of really good advice! Unfortunately, I can’t remember any of it! [laughs] I didn’t listen to any of it to be totally honest with you! [laughs] I am still trying to get into the entertainment industry myself! I have chosen an industry that is a very brutal one because there are a lot of negative elements that surround it. Some days I think, ‘I don’t want to do this anymore,’ but others I think ‘No! This is exactly what I want to do. I’m not going to stop!’ You have to be a very strong person and you have to surround yourself with positive energy and thoughts at all times. If being in the entertainment industry is really what you want, there is no reason that you can’t. The only reason that can hold you back is you. You have to keep fighting and believing in yourself and your dreams can definitely come true.

Just in talking to you on the phone, your positive attitude really comes across. That is pretty refreshing with all the negativity that is out there in the world today.
Thank you, so much!

Is there anything else you want to let your fans know before you go?
I just want to thank everyone who have believed in me and supported me along the way. I am really excited about all of these new projects that I am going to bring to them. I hope everyone will continue to give me some love. Check me out on Twitter (twitter.com/daisy_delahoya) and be sure to check out those charities I mentioned, that would be really awesome.

It has been a pleasure, Daisy! I look forward to talking to you again very soon!
Yeah! No problem! Thank you so much for chatting with me!
