Miguel Arrested For DUI

Celebrity News: In today's celebrity news, singer Miguel has been arrested for a DUI in LA early Thursday morning. According to TMZ 


California Highway Patrol officers initially flagged the 27-year-old singer's 2013 BMW X6 for speeding and tinted windows next to an L.A. freeway around 2:15 AM. 

During the stop, officers noticed the smell of booze ... and performed various field sobriety tests, which he flunked. 

He was then arrested and was booked. He has been released hours later on $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court in September.

Music News: It has been announced today that Justin Timberlake will be receiving  this year's Michael Jackson Video Vangaurd Award at the 2013 MTV VMAs which airs August 25th. Other past winners included Madonna, Beastie Boys and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Britney Spears was the last artist to receive the award two years ago.

Justin is also set to perform this year.

According to Vipdjz Tahiry will be laying the lead role of Kim who is a ride or die kinda chick.

Tahiry is also a returning cast member for 'Love and Hip Hop: NY Season 4.

Reality News: Is Gloria pulling A Jackie by getting married every year? This week, the former 'Basketball Wives LA' couple got married in California. Last year, two got hitched in Las Vegas and did not bother to tell the VH1 producers about it while filming the show's second season. I guess they wanted a traditional wedding. Her sister Laura Govan was a bridemaids. 

Also, according Hollywood Gossip, this wedding event was actually filmed but it's NOT for 'Basketball Wives LA". It seems they are planning a possible spin-off.

'The Bachelor" Runner-Up Gia Allemond Dies At 29

Gia Allemond Passes Away

Reality News: I don't normally watch "The Bachelor" nor "The Bachelorette" but this news is sad and unexpected. Gia Allemond who was the runner-up in season 14 of "The Bachelor" which was Jake Palvelka's has passed away today at the age of 29.

News first broke last night was she hospitalized in New Orleans. The details of her medical emergency has been unknown but her friend tweeted that she was on "life support" and was " barely breathing" From my research, she might have had a brain aneurysm. After appearing on "The Bachelor" she also was on the two seasons of "The Bachelor Pad"

UPDATE: TMZ reports she died from apparent suicide by hanging in her home.

K. Michelle Will Tour With Keyshia Cole

Music News: K. Michelle has revealed in a new interview with Hot 97 that her and Keyshia Cole will be touring together. K. Michelle has been doing her thing. She released her debut "Rebellous Soul" which has become a hit on iTunes

The album was at #3 in the U.S, # 1 in the Bahamas and #2 in Barbados. For someone who is in a reality show, that is a big accomplishment. Congrats to her.
