The family of the late Youtuber and 'The Voice' Christina Grimmie is filing a
wrongful death lawsuit for her murder back in June after she performed at Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Plaza when a deranged fan name Kevin Lioble shot her to death. Orlando Sentinal reports that her family is suing the concert venue for 'emotional distress'
Attorneys for Albert, Tina and Mark Grimmie filed a lawsuit in Orange Circuit Court late Tuesday alleging the concert promoter and owners of The Plaza Live were negligent in preventing the 22-year-old singer's wrongful death by not providing adequate security to stop her killer from entering the venue armed. The suit claims AEG Live and the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Plaza Foundation Inc. should pay for medical and funeral services, "the future support and services Christina would have provided" and the emotional toll they suffered over the loss of their daughter and sister.
