Twitter Fight: Poprah VS Pumkin

Pumkin's Tweets

Poprah's Tweets

There was a fight that went on earlier tonight between Poprah from I Want To Work With Diddy 2 and Pumkin from Flavor Of Love.. uh yeah very unpredictable, but these two went at it tonight. I do not know what caused the fight, but they were going back and forth with eachother, Pumkin called her fat and Poprah called Pumkin white trash. Now alot of people on twitter are saying that Pumkin's twitter page twitter.com/vh1_pumkin isn't real. she did tweeted that that other account was a fraud, the one saying she was going to have a her own show.

So I beleive that vh1_pumkin is her real twitter account.

New VH1 show Basketball Wives coming in March

Yet another VH1 show on the half-hour docu-soap tip is coming to VH1 next year. Basketball Wives will follow the lives of loves and ex-loves of such basketball players as Shaquille O’Neal, Eric Williams, Antoine Walker, Jermaine O’Neal and Udonis Haslem. Check the press release below for info on Basketball Wives:

VH1 has teamed up with the wives and girlfriends of some of the NBA’s most elite players to give the viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the glamorous life of a professional basketball player’s wife in VH1’s original series, Basketball Wives. Production is set to begin on the series in December 2009. The eight-episode 30-minute series is set to premiere on March 15, 2010.

This series is about the insider life of the wives, girlfriends and a few ex-wives of some of the biggest ballers in the game. These ladies live the life. They drive the best cars, live in the biggest mansions, wear designer clothes and jewelry and only travel first class. But living the high life is not all glamour. In order to protect it, they have to deal with the jealousies and dramas of living in — and staying in — the inner circle. They must also keep the groupies at bay while their husbands and boyfriends are traveling on the road for over six months of the year playing ball all-the-while wondering if their spouses are being faithful to them.

The cast is filled with the wives and ex-wives of superstars including Jennifer Williams (wife of Eric Williams), Evelyn Lozada (ex-fiancĂ© of Antoine Walker), Mesha O’Neal (wife of Jermaine O’Neal), Royce Reed, Faith Rain (Udonis Haslem’s girlfriend) and Shaunie O’Neal (wife of Shaquille O’Neal) who will also serve as executive producer on the series.

New VH1 show Secrets Of Aspen coming January

VH1 has teamed up again with High Noon Entertainment, the producers of the hit series VH1 Tough Love, for a new docu-soap style series Secrets of Aspen. The show will explore the lives of six women and one man who live in America’s most renowned ski town – Aspen, Colorado. Known as a playground for the rich and famous, Aspen has become one of the country’s most expensive zip codes to live in. However, not everyone living in this small town can afford to live the lavish lifestyle. Aspen is made up of haves and have-nots where friction commonly occurs between the two. Secrets of Aspen premieres Sunday, January 3 at 10:00 PM.

The half-hour, eight-episode series will follow six dynamic ladies and one lucky guy on their quest to find love, pay the rent, and stay friends - all at the same time. Together these ladies represent a cross section of Aspen’s modern women. However, they are not your typical housewives. Some of the ladies in town own three homes, while others work three jobs. They live in a small city filled with big egos and even bigger drama, making it hard to hold onto any man that comes their way, let alone a husband.

Aspen is an exclusive town of 5,000 residents that swells to 40,000 during peak season, providing endless opportunities and temptations for its locals. With limited permanent residents, the single life tends to take priority over long-term relationships. For these Aspenites, the continual ebb and flow of snow and money makes this town a challenging place to survive. The only guarantees in Aspen are gossip and drama. Catch the new series Secrets of Aspen premiering on VH1 on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 10 PM*.

Viewers can catch a sneak peek of the season’s first episode on VH1.com and on VH1 Mobile on Monday, December 28 – six days before the on-air premiere. Subsequent episodes will be available on VH1.com the morning after they air. Additional video content from Secrets of Aspen including a weekly online after show with cast members from the series will be available on VH1.com and on VH1 Mobile throughout the season.

VH1's newest award show "To Do Something Awards"

VH1 is teaming up with DoSomething.org for a new, uplifting take on the televised awards show. Details in the press release below…

VH1 has partnered with DoSomething.org to create the premiere award platform for young people and social change. VH1 will televise live the 2010 Do Something Awards on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from Los Angeles.

This partnership combines America’s largest organization for young people and social change with a network known for innovation and edge. The program will honor the most amazing young people who are rocking causes in extraordinary ways.

“Do not expect violins and tuxedos. It’s gonna be loud and live,” says Nancy Lublin, CEO and Chief Old Person of DoSomething.org.

Since 1996, Do Something has honored the nation’s best young world-changers—like Maggie Doyne who created an orphanage in Nepal at the age of 17 and now (at the ripe age of 22) is the legal guardian to 27 children. Do Something award winners represent the pivotal “doers” in their field, cause, or issue.

The five nominees will be rewarded with a community grant, participation in this live tv show, media coverage and continued support from Do Something. The grand prize winner will receive $100,000 during the live broadcast.

“Do Something is the first outside partner we’ve worked with in such a large capacity because we’re impressed by the team and how they motivate young adults to do their best,” said Tom Calderone, President, VH1. “We’re excited to collaborate with them on an event unlike other award shows. No rubber-chicken dinners here. The Pop Rocks and caffeine will be flowing at what promises to be a fun and memorable event that will engage viewers, recognize these truly amazing individuals and inspire young people to set goals in their communities.”

Celebrity participants and venue will be announced later next year. The Do Something Awards 2010 is executive produced by Lee Rolontz for VH1 and Nancy Lublin and Jonathan Schilit for DoSomething.org.

The Do Something Awards announcement comes on the heels of VH1’s and DoSomething.org’s partnership on the recent Top 20 Celebs Gone Good special that recognized celebrities’ work on behalf of worthy causes. The special premiered on VH1 on Thursday, November 19. DoSomething.org also teamed up with the VH1 Save The Music Foundation this fall for the Save Our Music initiative, which empowered young people to lead the fight to keep music education in their local schools. During September and October, the two groups provided free advocacy toolkits, project ideas and support to young people fighting for music education in their schools. The best efforts will be awarded grants for their schools’ music education programs and other exciting prizes.
