Football Wives Chanita Interview with ESSENCE

chanita-foster.jpg

ESSENCE.com: Tell us what the show hasn't told us about you yet.

CHANITA FOSTER: I have four college degrees, I have a non-profit and we're building a school in Africa, and I worked insports management for 11 years. More on the NBA side, but still well-respected amongst my peers. These are all things the at times my mouth and attitude can outshine.

ESSENCE.com: Let's use this time to clear up things: rumor has it that you and your husband are broke.

FOSTER: This is driving me crazy. The Fosters are not broke, we just spend our money differently than other people. If I wanted to drive a Bentley, I could drive a Bentley but I would have Cheetos and bubble gum all on my floor.

ESSENCE.com: Does George playing in the UFL make you more frugal?

FOSTER: People need to understand that every football player doesn't have a billion dollars. I'm very comfortable with who I am, and if people do their research before calling me broke, they know that my husband was the #1 draft pick in 2005, my husband's signing was $3.5 million dollars, plus the millions he's made over 11 years. The way I deal with money is a difference in choices; we wanted to provide a realistic lifestyle for our children. Everything we have, we own.

ESSENCE.com: Do the other football wives spend too much?

FOSTER: Amanda (Davis) has a $20,000 dollar mirror on her wall, and that's fine because that is her choice. But I know if I ever got in a financial bind, do I really want to look on my wall and see a $20,000 mirror? I can barely look at some of my $3,000 purses. We own everything we have outright, every car and each and every home. No leases, no mortgages, no credit cards, if we can't buy it, we don't need it.

ESSENCE.com: What's the hardest part about being married to a football player?

FOSTER: All the injuries, it's such a brutal sport. My husband is hurting right now, and losing his memory. Lineman get dementia at 45 years old, some of the players don't even remember their kids at 50. I've been to more NFL funerals than people I know.

ESSENCE.com: You and castmate Pilar Sanders have issues. Where did all this start?

FOSTER: I'm bothered when people say, 'Oh Pilar is so classy...' Pilar has made the statement 'Who is that girl?' and I'm like 'Pilar, you know me.' We sat on a women's empowerment panel together not too long ago.

ESSENCE.com: You and Pilar are very different...

FOSTER: In the football world we have people who feel like they are entitled because of what their last name is, how much money their husbands make, and so on. Certain people on our cast, because of their last name, feel they can have people wait two hours for them, or think when they walk in a room their husbands don't have to speak, we should speak to them. I feel like people should give the same respect they want given to them, and I'm not kissing nobody's tail. I promise you.

ESSENCE.com: Did former castmate Mercedes get thrown off the show because she threw something at you?

FOSTER: It's true she threw something at me, but I'm not sure that's the reason she's not on the show. The whole thing was on camera though.

ESSENCE.com: Who are you the closest with on the show?

FOSTER: I know it cheesy, but everyone -- with the exception of Pilar.

TMZ.com  is reporting that Football Wives Star Pilar Sandars  is sick of being "made to look like the villain" on the show and does not want to subject herself to another round of drama.

But that's not all Pilar is telling friends ... we're told she's unhappy with her castmates ... even telling one person, "Would they still call it "Football Wives" if their husbands aren't playing or aren't affiliated with the NFL any longer?"

We're guessing this won't be Pilar's last fling with reality TV -- word on the street is that she and Deion are shopping around a new show ... but so far, it's unclear what it will be about.

VH1access Interview: Blonde Baller (Real Chance Of Love 2/I Love Money 4)

So this is my 2nd post I Love Money 4 interview. My first was with Chi Chi and now I did an interview with Blonde Baller. She tells me how she felt not picking Cheezy, her thoughts on Brittanya and what we did NOT see on TV. She also has a new reality show coming out on Spike TV called Hunny Bun Girls. Follow her on twitter

VH1access: Do you regret not picking Cheezy for your team? He was pretty pissed off

Blonde Baller: I do and dont regret picking cheezy. Like Sassy said, I should not be ashamed of picking who I did because I set myself up with an amazing team who didnt even have to worry about going into the box because we were so good. On the other hand, Pun was running everything and he made the time in the house hell so i think it would have been a little less chaos. It made for a good show and I do not regret picking pun and not cheezy, if anything I REGRET PICKING BRITTANYA. I wish i would have let her go home first and then the men would have think with their brains not their dicks. SHE GOT IN ALL OF THEIR HEADS AND BEDS.

VH1access: On the last episode you said "fuck your dead mom" to Punisher. do you regret saying that now? What are your thoughts on Punisher and Garth gaining up on you on your elimination episode?

Blonde Baller: I do not regret it because what people dont know is the day before when we were talking in the kitchen I told Pun you would probably sell your own mom for $250,000 and he said call her she lives in Brooklyn and Sassy heard him. I have even written him on TWITTER and we talked about it, he said it was a mis-understanding and that its just editing. What people dont know is were actually cool.
My thoughts on Pun and Garth ganging up on me are whatever’s, they dont show me trying to kill Garth or me and sassy going bad on PUN or Hotwings throwing a VASE at Garths head because he is so annoying. My girls had my back and i realized that HOT wings and Sassy had my back.

VH1access: When you were eliminated Brittanya called you "bitch face" What are your thoughts on her calling you that?

Blonde Baller: LOL Brittanya is like Frankenstein to me...she has all these parts and put herself together so i dont really care. I am natural and happy with what i got. She fucked everyone to stay and she is DUMB AS HELL. LOL. I AM SMART thats something she cant get implanted in her. She can call me a bitch face, at least my SON is not sitting at home like wow MY MOMS A HOE AND SHE IS DUMB AS HELL. Lmao I DOMINATED IN THE FIRST MISSION, 5 SECONDS KNOCKING CORNFED OFF AND HELD MY HAND UP AN HOUR AND 44 MINS even though they make it look like I let go way earlier than her it was a minute later she let her hand down. Also i couldn’t keep up with her in that challenge her hand is use to being over worked so i was at a loss. LMAO that girl can hate me and talk shit and do whatever because she read this...i mean if she can read. She can say "IM HOT, YOU WISH YOU WERE ME BLAB BLAB BLAB," Looks fade and people like me for me not for what i have done to my body i saw pictures of her before the surgery and it was a good call she fixed her self up cuz she was a wreck LMAO. I am happy with me NO KIDS, A DEGREE, NO LEGAL CASES AGNIST ME, I HAVE A GOOD MAN AND A GREAT FAMILY! IM HAPPY.

VH1access: Was there any other drama on the show that we did not get to see?

Blonde Baller: Me trying to fight Pun and Garth. We all were calling PUN gay because he said he would rather SCREW CHI CHI BEFORE SASSY....You didnt see hotwings throw a vase at garth. You didnt see Brittanya drunk say she didnt wanna sleep with a stupid Black Guy...you didnt see Gath having to go to the psych in mexico every 7 days...there was alot n everyone can hate me for tellin the secrets I DONT GIVE A SHIT!

VH1access: Did your family watch you TV on both shows for Real Chance Of Love 2 and i Love Money 4?

Blonde Baller: THEY WATCHED ALL OF THEM AND LAUGHED THEIR ASS OFF. They know i have a good life, i love God and its all for TV....Like I said...TWO SHOWS AND NO TATTOO AND NOT RAN THREW!! i have not had sex or done something stupid to myself so im good. im just me.

VH1acces: You have also doing other stuff. You wrote an article for detox drop.

Blonde Baller: Yes i am the spokes person for it! i have an endorsement deal.

VH1access: I also heard you are having a new reality show on Spike TV. Will it be good?

Blonde Baller: Yes it is called HUNNY BUN GIRLS my friend Suati does boy toy clothing and it is a show about how it came about. we are shooting the fashion shows at clubs and i will be the host and also model in them.

Bret Michaels still denying affair with Miley Cyrus's mom

Examiner.com says Bret is Denying the rumors STILL!

"I've been friends with her family forever. It started out with me and Miley simply working on a song together. Her mom, Tish, likes 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn,' the first concert Miley ever saw was Poison, and so they wanted to remake it for the new record."

La La Vazquez Interviews with MomLogic

Lala Vasquez

ml: Your reality show has done really well -- congrats! You've produced a bunch of shows and you've hosted shows, but what was it like to be on a reality show?
La La Vazquez: Actually, I enjoyed the experience tremendously. The difference for me is I knew exactly what it was going into it. Being on camera my whole life, whether hosting "TRL" or being on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," I already knew what to expect. One thing I say to people is, if you don't want to show your life or put yourself out there, then reality TV may not be what you want to do. I think the audience can sense when you're holding back or being "fake" or whatever. I really enjoyed it and I was ready to put it out there for people. That can be a little bit nerve-wracking, because you don't know how people are going to respond, but to get the response that I did was just incredible.

ml: So you have a movie coming out in January?
LV: Yes! I'm actually meeting up with "Fifty" today to talk about the project and some of his other movie deals. I'm going to see what I can squeeze myself into!

ml: Your little man, Kiyan, is three. Was it challenging to balance doing a reality show with hanging out with him?
LV: I had him be as much a part of it as he could be. I know people are 50/50 when it comes to that, but it wouldn't be my reality if you didn't see my son. I'm a hands-on parent; I raise my son and I don't hand him off to somebody else to raise him, so not having my son be a part of it would be a lie to the audience. He's involved in everything I do. Kiyan is in school for a good portion of the day, so during those hours I knock out as much as I can. It's all about managing your schedule and moving things around, just like any other working parent would do.

ml: How are you finding the "threes"?
LV: Fun and challenging all at once! Three is where they are finding themselves, so they have a lot of answers to things. It's definitely challenging and fun, seeing his personality really blossom into what it's going to be now. He said he can't wait until he turns four, because then he can drive. I said, "You can drive?" And he said, "When I'm four I can drive and I can't wait."

ml: Did he say anything on the wedding day that blew your mind?
LV: To this day, he'll call it "the day that we got married." Which we kind of told him -- that we were all getting married. He really believes it was all of us; he doesn't differentiate that it was something between Mom and Dad. He thinks it was a big party and keeps asking, "When are we going to have another wedding?"

ml: It's stressful to plan a wedding, period. What was it like to plan a wedding on TV?
LV: Honestly, you forget the cameras are even there. After a while, you are so mixed up in doing what you're doing. They're just kind of following you, then they just disappear. You're so engrossed in menus and cake tastings and Mindy Weiss that you don't even see the cameras. That's when the best TV comes out, because you're just being your natural self.

ml: Was getting married different to you than just being together?
LV: For me, it feels the same. My husband and I have been together for seven years, so not many different things are going to happen now. But inside myself, I have that little place that no one else has to know about where I think, "We did it! It's done!" You smile inside, because you know that it's technically official now. But I definitely feel that the overall dynamics of the relationship haven't changed.

ml: Was there anything about acting in your first film that surprised you?
LV: I moved here to L.A. when I was a teenager and I was hired in radio out here. I don't think you can be in L.A. in any form of entertainment and not get bitten by the acting bug. It's something I've been wanting to do for a very long time. The job at MTV came calling first. Anybody in their right mind making a very small amount of money who got an offer to host "TRL" would never turn it down for the love of asking -- no one's going to do that!

ml: HELLS NO!
LV: Exactly! So it led me down a different path, and now I'm trying to find my way back into the acting world, because I do have a passion for it. It lets you be creative and free and really express yourself. It's no-holds-barred. You can't care what anybody thinks. You've just got to go out there and be open to criticism from other people. It works on your self-esteem -- that's why I really enjoy it.

ml: You get to be someone else on camera, instead of yourself.
LV: Absolutely. I'm just a person who believes one person doesn't have to just do one thing. Being a TV host for the longest time, that's how people wanted to see me. Then I did the reality show and now I'm becoming this reality TV person, then I have the movie coming out. I want to be a person who's able to cross the board and do different things, and you don't see that too often, especially coming from being an MTV VJ. You kind of get grouped into being the only thing that you can really do and I just totally disagree with that.

ml: As a mom, it's daunting to take on something new because it takes up so much energy.
LV: I never settle -- I'm always up for the challenge. My mom always says that no matter how many times they slam the door in your face, you're going to keep knocking, so that's how it is for me. With acting, I'm not going to let up until I make my mark, because it's something I really want to do. I feel like if you're passionate about something and willing to put the work in and the time in, you will get better and get to the point where you want to be. Like I'm taking a seven-hour acting class. You have to be willing to put that kind of commitment in.

ml: How do you balance it with parenting?
LV: I try to make the bulk of my workday during Kiyan's school hours so when it's Kiyan-and-Mom time, he definitely has my undivided attention. I'll carve out a couple of hours that day where there's no phone, no BlackBerry -- just he and I doing an activity that he wants to do. Kids live in our world, so they like to see you get engrossed in their world as well. Just taking the time out to be in their world makes all the difference.

ml: In this digital world, do you feel like it's hard to cut yourself off sometimes?
LV: I don't find it hard, but I do have to make a conscious effort to say, "It's six o'clock, everything's going off for an hour to two [so I can] bathe him, read a book, play a game then put him to bed and then get back to work." Once I do it, it's just done. I just laugh because every time I do it, that's when the biggest whatever happens and I'm not available to everybody! I'm on the phone all day and it has to happen during the two hours I shut off my phone! That's just the way of the world. On weekends we always try to get an activity in. Kiyan is at that age where he's starting to have playdates with kids at his school, so I'm entering into the world of him socializing with other kids and going to each other's houses and that's cool, too. He's having fun hanging out with his friends and doing things they like to do.

ml: What's next for you? Would you do another reality show?
LV: The big thing is the movie, but I'm just really exploring my options. The reality show did do so well, so it opened up a lot of doors -- including one where I have to ask myself if I want to continue doing that. So I'm kind of putting everything on the table and figuring out what's the next best thing. I can't help but quote my mom, who I get all my life lessons from, who says, "It's great to have options. When you don't have options, that's when you need to worry." I have a couple of great options on the table and I'm going to explore them and figure out what the next thing is.

ml: What's the most important lesson your mom taught you that you'd like to share with Kiyan?
LV: The most important, yet most simple lesson, is basically treating people how you want to be treated. As corny or cliche as it sounds, I treat everybody the way I want to be treated and treat everybody like a human being, whether they are at the bottom of the totem pole or the top -- because in life, you'll see those roles reverse so easily and so quickly. As you get older, you apply it differently, but the same rule works
