 Reality TV Producer Dies


It looks like 2016 claimed yet another death before the new year. Bruce Toms, who is known for producing shows such as 'Wife Swap', Celebrity Rehab, and was nominated for Emmy for his work on 'Road Rules' died on Christmas of natural causes 

 Variety reports he has remembered was a "lovely, kind person with a sense humor" said by his  WME partner Mark Itkin. Memorial service was planned on New Years Eve.

Videos: Dr. Drew was on the Queen Latifah show today and was asked if he will bring hsi reality show 'Celebrity Rehab" he says "anything is possible" but confirms it come back anytime soon. I can't really blame him if he don't want to bring back the who because five cast members have passed away.

Celebrity News: Dr. Drew has his own recent health scare. He revealed this week that he battled prostate cancer this pas summer where he has the gland surgically removed this past July only to return to work 10 days later.

No More 'Celebrity Rehab' For Dr. Drew

Dr. Drew has revealed that he has no plans to do anymore seasons of "Celebrity Rehab" after a string of deaths among the cast members. Can you blame him? He says he tired and stressed of people blaming him everytime someone who was on the show who ends up dead.

“It’s very stressful and very intense for me. And to have people questioning my motives and taking aim at me because people get sick and die, because they have a life threatening disease, then I have to take blame for that? Rodney King has a heart attack and I have to take blame for that? That’s really what is happening these days.”

“Treating addiction is treating addiction and we had a program that was second to none. We could handily anything — the sickest patients we would take. And we were good. We did it for 20 years. That’s enough.”

Mindy McCready Laid To Rest

The late country singer and Celebrity Rehab cast member, Mindy McCready, was laid to rest today in her hometown Fort Myers, Florida.  She died in front porch nine days ago from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Her casket was placed on stage with white roses, along with a painting of a portrait of her. Her mother, Gayle Ing, was on stage and told the the 400 mourners who showed that she adored her two children and that she no longer sick, she is healed.

Dr. Drew has released a statement regarding Mindy McCready's death who shot herself in front porch this past weekend. She became the 3rd cast member from her season to pass away and the 5th cast member combined from the series,

Dr. Drew offered an official statement to Buzzfeed

I am deeply saddened by this awful news. My heart goes out to Mindy’s family and children. She is a lovely woman who will be missed by many. Although I have not treated her for a few years, I had reached out to her recently upon hearing about the apparent suicide of her boyfriend and father of her younger children. She was devastated. Although she was fearful of stigma and ridicule she agreed with me that she needed to make herhealth and safety a priority. Unfortunately it seems that Mindy did not sustain her treatment.

Mental health issues can be life threatening and need to be treated with the same intensity and resources as any other dangerous potentially life threatening medical condition. Treatment is effective. If someone you know is suffering please be sure he or she gets help and maintains treatment.

News is just breaking from FOX News in Nashville that country singer Mindy McCready has commit suicide.  A family friend has confirmed the news.

Her boyfriend recently passed away as well from a apparent suicide. She is also the 5th Celebrity Rehab cast member to pass away in the last 3 years. 

Celebrity Rehab's Joey Kovar Died From Opiates

                               

It has been confirmed that Joey Kovar of 'The Real World'and 'Celebrity Rehab' has died from opiate intoxication.

TMZ reports he took a prescription painkiller callled Narco and his death was ruled an accident. He died back in August.

Cause Of Death

TMZ reports Real World and Celenrity Rehab cast member, Joey Kovar, died from a combination of viagra, cociane and booze. He was found dead at a friend's house yesterday. His friend, Stacey Archtorhof woke up yesterday morning and found him dead. He was bleeding from his nose and ears.

Joey Kovar is the third Celebrity Rehab cast member who have passed away. Last year, the show lost Mike Starr and Jeff Conway.

Kari Ann Peniche's Husband Claims Their Baby Tested Positive For Meth

Justin Williams, who is the estranged husband to Celebrity Rehab star Kari Anne Peniche claims that their baby tested positive for meth. 

TMZ reports that she has once again fallen and began to use drugs around her baby. He took his 10 month old son to a hair follicle test and he says the test came out positive for meth. He is now begging the court to strip her custody rights.
