A Movie Version?

You could be seeing drinks flying around at theater near you. Shaunie O Neal, who is the star and creator of the franchise, has teamed up with Tracey Edmonds, who produced 'Jumping The Broom', to produce a movie of 'Basketball Wives.' The movie will be centered around woman who follows her boyfriend to Mimai after he gets drafted into the NBA where she meets other basketball wives.

Tracey tells Variety

"The beauty of a feature film is that we'll have the ability to dig much deeper into the stories and characters that come from this very colorful world and create a very juicy, action-packed narrative,"

TMZ reports now the produecsr are taking legal action against her after she went on a media rampage trashing the show. The producers feels like her trashing the show, is violation of their contracts.
