VH1 Airs Entourage and Jersey Shore To Lure More Viewers
So I'm sure many of guys have been wondering why in the hell is VH1 been airing Entourage and Jersey Shore so much, well this article explains why. VH1 wants to lure more viewers because of their ratings slump and to test out new programming ideas.
This is what a VH1 spokesman said:
"It was a way to test out show formats and formulas with our viewers and help drive promotion for the series back to our sister channel."
Lifetime is doing the same thing. Both networks have been borrowing shows from other networks to jump start themselves.

Is VH1 Foreshadowing A Brandy Dating Show? + POLL
Is VH1 planning to do For The Love Of Brandy? When I am watching Brandy and Ray-J: A Family Business, I've noticed the way VH1 is editing her on the show and on the trailer of her being obsessed with love and trying to find a man. I am wondering now if VH1 is foreshadowing a Brandy dating show.
Although on For The Love Of Ray-J 2, Brandy says she would not look for love on TV. But since her album drops in 2011 I think a dating show might be good exposure for her and good hype for the album.

Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend Amber Rose announces that she too is getting a piece of the reality show pie.
According to the model, her VH1 reality show “Behind Her Shades” will be based around her upcoming eyewear store opening in Las Vegas and will sell her own line along with some vintage sunnies.
