Fantasia Boycotted The Grammys Over Aretha Franklin Tribute

Fantasia Boycotted The Grammys

Even though Fantasia won a Grammy for "Bittersweet", she wasn't at The Grammys due to her being upset that she was not picked to do the Aretha Franklin which had another  American contestant Jennifer Hudson who was part of the tribute.

She was at 106 Park and explained her situation.

"I'm going to be very honest with you. You know I wasnt at the Grammys last night. I'm kind of going through my own little thing... Last night they were honoring someone who is my idol, Aretha Franklin, and there is no way I could have sat there and not got the happy feet and wanting to jump on the mic because she is my favorite so I felt like, you know, at the end of the day I should have been on that stage so, I kind of did my own little thing last night. I watched Cee-lo's performance, I love Cee lo, love Gaga, watched Gaga, and I love Rihanna's performance, but I kind of cooked and did my own think last night and was in my own world and was hoping that I won. I have this feeling, like every year I go, I feel like they always look over some of the good singers that are still around and I'm not trying to be funny but that's just the way I felt."

Suzie Confirms She has NOT left Basketball Wives

Suzie told VH1 Blogger Rich directly that she’s made no such decision just yet. “Filming Season 2 was so hard for me. It was miserable,” she says. “I’d really have to weigh the pros and cons, but it’s not a definite no. I think I know how to handle things better now and I’ve moved on with the whole Evelyn situation. I don’t care anymore.”

Suzie says she has no idea who TMZ used as a source for its report, and says that she found out about it herself (where else?) on Twitter.

Beverly Hills Fabulous Meet the Cast

VH1 is making an appointment at the exclusively swanky and ritzy Elgin Charles Salon, which is the only African-American beauty salon located in the heart of Beverly Hills. Featured in VH1’s newest series, Beverly Hills Fabulous, the Elgin Charles Salon, owned and managed by the one and only Elgin Charles, is a magnet for a who’s who of high profile clientele. The self-proclaimed “Emperor of Hair” will stop at nothing to globalize his hair empire and secure “Elgin Charles” as a household name. However, viewers will get to see the only thing crazier than the demanding clients are the stylists themselves. VH1’s Beverly Hills Fabulous will be sure to righteously entertain as the cameras go behind the scenes of the Elgin Charles Salon following his quest to create his hair empire, hitting the Beverly Hills boutiques and restaurants with his crew, all while living as glamorously as their clients.
