T.O Is Broke Owes 20,000 on Child Support

The Atlanta Journal reports he is broke, and owes over $20,000 on child support.

“He has not indicated if he ever plans to send another penny for their daughter,” Smith’s attorney, Randall Kessler, said in a letter to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
“We plan to ask the court to send a strong message, given that he has only paid support in the last 10 months after a contempt action has been filed against him,” Kessler said.

Owens now plays in the Indoor Football League as wide receiver and 50-percent owner of the Allen Wranglers.According to Dallas media reports, Owens' deal with the Wranglers could compensate him up to $500,000 this season. The league’s 14-game season began on Feb. 25

Monique and Kita Open Up about T.O Situation

Monique and Kita Open up about the situation with Terrell Owens with The Insider.

TheInsider.com: How did all this start? Terrell says you double-crossed him
Kita: He's mad at everybody. We were friends first. People forget that. We were friends for 12 years. Terrell is the only client we had where we had a friendship first. The GQ article didn't bother us (T.O. recently did an interview with GQ where he stated he was broke and had no friends). Terrell is typically known for running his mouth, he says things off the cuff, he's mad at the world. It didn't bother us, that article we knew about.
TheInsider.com: So what took you guys over the top emotionally?
Kita: His Wendy Williams interview. We didn't steal anything from him. And he sat on that couch, and said a friend stole some money. People assumed he was talking about us, and he never really stated he WASN'T talking about us. So that's how Wendy Williams made the assumption and went on her after show saying 'Those two girls ripped him off! I can't believe Mo and Kita would do such a thing.' Having an opinion is one thing -- anyone can have an opinion -- but when you state it as fact now you are messing with my reputation as a professional woman. Monique and I have been in this business for over 15 years. Before T.O. And we've worked with artists from Ludacris, to Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Method Man and more. We worked for Def Jam! So for him to say something like that and not be clear -- that's where we got hurt. We're hurt more than anything.
TheInsider.com: So just to set the record straight, neither of you have ever stolen from T.O.?
Monique and Kita: NEVER!
Monique: We have never! We've never stolen ANYTHING from Terrell Owens. There's been always hills and valleys within our relationship. This isn't the first time Terrell and Kita and I have parted ways with our friendship. Over a 12-year span it's not a big deal. Where the hurt and disbelif came from is he put some things out there, and we know how media puts a spin on things, especially messy media. He was never clear.
TheInsider.com: Why does he think you were going behind his back?
Monique: My biggest issue is that Terrell knows we've gone to bat for him over the years. We've protected him like a brother, like a son. We've stood in the front line an took on war for him. He knows the truth, on The T.O. Show this last season, we sat on his couch in Miami and disclosed there was a friend who stole money! My question to Wendy would be: Why don't you check the facts because you can Google it and it will show you there were court orders and documents, because Terrell had to sue to get his money back. It also was shown on The T.O. Show. Why would he sit on the couch and cry to us about a friend stealing money if it was us that stole from him?!
Kita: When we pitched The T.O. Show six years ago, when there wasn't a ton of reality shows on Vh1, we pitched to several networks, and VH1 took a chance on us. That's how Monique and I became creators. It was our idea. We became co-executive producers because we were behind the scenes doing everything!
TheInsider.com: So were you conducting deals without his knowledge?
Mo: We never brought Terrell in the beginning stages in any deal until it was time to sign on the dotted line and get the real deal going. Because at the time his focus was supposed to be football! There were other shows that we shopped for other people! He wasn't brought in because: A) It wasn't about him, and B) he's playing football. Why bother him until it's something we know is for certain? The paperwork that VH1 legal has shows he is involved in the deal basically for nothing other than his association as our business partner. If he wanted to know the day to day that's a two way street. What he won't say is when we were filming season two, we had a conversation in a parking lot where we talked about coming up with a production company of our own.
Kita: We haven't taken a percentage from The T.O. Show from him directly, or the new movie he's promoting which we got for him. There are some things as friends we let ride. We secured many deals that we didn't talk to him about initially because it wasn't set yet! Everything we do business-wise has always been in the preliminary stages beforehand. We've never excluded him, but we've always been excluded to be honest. We will negotiate for him without having to take money out of his pocket. So let's be fair here. We haven't been on his payroll since 2004! Monique and I are CEOs of our own company. We don't work for T.O., we don't work for Terrell Owens enterprise. We work for our own company. We have other clients! We have Johnny Gill as a client. We have other athletes as clients. Why wouldn't we be making deals for him, other clients and ourselves?
TheInsider.com: Where does your relationship stand?
Mo: We're estranged. Kita: We haven't technically sat down with him, and we need to, and I hope the family circle can get back together. We hope we get back on the same playing field. We love him and we defintley want the best for him.
TheInsider.com: It seems like T.O. has a lot of drama in his life.Monique: It's hard for him to take responsibility for us, because it's hard for him to take responsibility for anything else in his life, including his kids. With that being said, I'm hurt, but I'm not necessarily surprised.
TheInsider.com: Will there be another season of The T.O. show? Or a reality show in some capacity?Mo: We're very optimistic and we'll know for sure very soon.

Terrell Owens absolutely did not attempt suicide nor did he attempt to overdose on pills on Oct. 6, 2011.”
“The facts are that [T.O.'s assistant] arrived at his home that evening after he had already taken a sleeping aid to fall asleep. He was unresponsive because of this.”
“Unaware he had taken a sleeping aid prior to her arrival, his assistant became concerned and decided to call 911.”

T.O Responds to Baby Mama Drama

T.O Baby mama Claims that Terrell has failed to pay Child Support For the month of June. She filed court papers against him. Today He Release an Offiicial Statement

We are saddened by Ms. Smith and her attorney's need to bring this to the public as a news story.
Mr. Owens has never once missed a payment or fell behind in child support payments for any of his children.
When his income changed a few times over the last few years, dramatically decreasing, he continued to pay the child support amounts as they were structured for his previous significantly higher income.

For June 2011, Mr. Owens communicated directly with Ms. Smith to let her know prior that he would only be able to pay half of the month's support payment on the due date.
He also will be seeking an adjusted child support amounts based on his current financial situation due to the fact that he is currently unsigned and the NFL is on lockout.

Mr. Owens has always provided for his family, all children and all responsibilities.
The fact that Ms. Smith attorney is using this difficult time as a press opportunity is a shame.
In the meantime, Mr. Owens is doing everything he can to make his payments as ordered.
I also would like to stress that is a private family matter that Mr. Owens takes very seriously and is handling.

Monique From T.O Show Clears Up Evelyn Comment & Season 3

Monique From T.O Show Clears up Her Comment about Evelyn "Not Being a Factor," and also Details about Season 3 of the T.O show.

Why did you make the comments about Evelyn Lozada being a non-m*therfu#king factor?
Kita and I went to the Forbes Celebrity Entrepreneur Awards as the producers and creators of the T.O. Show. I did not go there with Evelyn on my mind, just to make that clear. While we were on the red carpet one reporter said she was happy to see The T.O. Show back for a third season and how we are the only show that shows two black women running a business in a positive light. When asked if I watch Basketball Wives I responded, “I support it.” I completely support Shaunie O’Neal’s movement and I am friendly with a lot of the girls on the show. The same reporter then mentions how I move in the same circle as Terrell and Chad and what do I think about Chad and Evelyn’s relationship. I said, “I don’t think one way or the other about their relationship. I don’t know Evelyn to get all up into it that way.” I stated, “what I do know is that Evelyn needs to slow down and stop portraying herself a certain way.” She asked and “how is that”, I said, “well sleeping with married men and pretending like the wife is a non-motherfucking factor is just so disrespectful, but what do you expect from her? On the show, she meets, greets, and sleeps, with a guy the same night, whether it’s the truth or not, it’s portrayed that way.”

What can we expect from season 3 of The T.O. Show?
Well ironically, we end up in Miami. Terrell has property there and he has a business there, so we go there and help him try to figure out what’s his next business move. In that, there comes a Miami lifestyle. There’s a lot of fun and games, a lot of ups and downs, there are highs and lows in this show. I try to play back a little bit, because people know that I am married and I have kids, and in the show, I end up missing them a lot because we move to Miami and live with Terrell. So it’s kind of like Three’s Company meets Jersey Shore, with a little bit more color. I would call Kita Chrissy — she is dating now. She’s getting her sex life and that game back on. Terrell is finding himself as he always is; jumping over hurdles and trying to excel with the T.O. brand as well as the man. So it’s going to be exciting.
