Hey Loves!

It’s your girl Courtnee Mason from VH1’s “You’re Cut Off!”. Ok so a lots been going on… please know this I will do better lol. I have been preparing for the Miss Black North Carolina USA 2011 Pageant and let’s just say to whom MUCH is GIVEN MUCH is REQUIRED! I wanted you all to know why I chose to do this pageant and what I plan to do with my local title as Miss Black Charlotte NC USA 2011 and what I plan to do if I capture the state title this November 11-13, 2010!

I cannot express how much the importance of BELIEVING is! This year I have chosen a platform that is not the TYPICAL platform but something that means the world to me and that I live my life by; in which I chose the platform “I BELIEVE”. For me the Miss Black NC USA Pageant has nothing to do with winning a beautiful crown and parading around stage, but it has everything with elevating, inspiring and uplifting the community in more ways than one. There is nothing more rewarding to me than to someone else happy and living their dreams! There is so much going on in the world that people have begun to just simply “EXIST” and not “LIVE”. No matter what political party you are a part of …. It is time for CHANGE in every area of our lives!

It’s time to bring back the little kid in us, you remember when you were a little child and you might have had an imaginary friend or you wanted to be a doctor, lawyer or a business owner and there was NO ONE in the world that couldn’t tell you that your imaginary friend didn’t exist or that you couldn’t be what you wanted. Remember that… well what happened?! What happened is that society told you what you could and couldn’t do, because society is the very thing that is scared of it’s greatness! Stop being scared of what it is you are capable of doing and or becoming!!

Vh1s Dad Camp Dr. Jeff Apologizes For Gay Remarks

 

Dr. Jeff Gardere made last week on CNN (where he frequents as an on-air expert) regarding a mother who allowed her son to dress up as a female character fromScooby Doo sparked an outrage. Dr. Jeff took the woman to task for “outing” her son, and said, “It is the worst nightmare of heterosexual and gay couples to have to fathom that their child might be gay.” Soon after, Dr. Jeff spoke to the gay blog After Elton, to clarify:

“What the full statement should have been and what I always say because I do work with straight and gay parents, it is a real issue for them because they are afraid, and this is the part I didn’t say and what I should have said, and you can go back and research it and you’ll see that I’ve said it in every other place. And that is my fault and I accept complete responsibility for not saying that. Those parents, even gay parents say it, as controversial as that will sound, do not want their children to have to deal with the pain and the isolation and a lot of the emotional trauma that they have to go through as far as coming to terms with their sexuality. They know that they went through it and they prefer that their kids not go through it. And that’s what the full statement should have been.”

Additionally, Dr. Jeff repeatedly emphasized the responsibility he’s taking for his words and said that he was not out to shame the mother in question: “It was never my intention to criticize this mother. I think what she did as far as supporting her child and allowing him to express himself in anyway possible is 100 percent admirable. I think at this point in our history this is what more people need to be able to do, to step up in that way.” [After Elton via Towleroad]

Sources close to the show tell Hollyscoop that the beauty is in fact turning 37 this January!

TMZ 'Football Wives' Drama After Castmember Hospitalized

TMZ has confirmed .. Chanita Foster -- wife of former Denver Broncos player George Foster -- nearly collapsed during a scene in September after experiencing a headache so painful, she "couldn’t feel her legs and had trouble standing”

We're told doctors initially thought Chanita may have had a brain aneurysm -- but eventually diagnosed her with dehydration.

Sources tell us all of the "Wives" castmembers visited Chanita at the hospital and brought flowers ... except Pilar Sanders -- Deion Sanders' wife -- and the snub, we're told, pissed off Chanita.

But a source close to Pilar tells us she had a good excuse for the no-show ... explaining, "Pilar reached out to Chanita but she never got a reply."

The source added, "Plus Deion had called and told her about a very romantic evening he had planned for them and asked if she'd come home. So she did."
