Autopsy Reveals No Foul Play in Death of Kris Kross' Chris Kelly

The autopsy for fallen Kris Kross member Chris Kelly has been completed. The medical examiner found no signs of trauma or foul play, leaving the search for answers to the cause of his untimely death at age 34 to the results of the toxicology report. The report should be available within three to four weeks.

Drugs are largely believed to be the reason behind Kelly's death. His mother, Donna Kelly Pratte, told police that the evening prior to his death he had consumed speedballs, a combination of cocaine and heroin. She had help him recover, as she had in the past after his many other drug episodes.

Kelly was found lying on his living room couch showing no signs of life on Wednesday (May 1) afternoon. Paramedics could not revive him. Fulton County police are already investigating the death as a drug overdose.

PepsiCo (Mountain Dew) Drops Lil Wayne

PepsiCo has dropped troubled rapper Lil Wayne just 2 days after his publicist wrote an “apology” letter to the family of 14-year-old civil rights icon Emmett Till.
PepsiCo, which distributes Mountain Dew, said in a statement late Friday that Wayne’s offensive comparison of Till to a violent sexual act on Future’s “Karate Chop” remix did “not reflect the values of our brand.”
In the “apology” letter, the publicist wrote, “Moving forward, I will not use or reference Emmett Till or the Till family in my music, especially in an inappropriate manner.” and concluded with, “…my ultimate intention is to uplift rather than degrade our community.”
But Till’s family dismissed the letter, saying it was a step short of an apology.
Pepsico had signed Wayne to promote Mountain Dew. The soft drink giant also sponsored Wayne’s upcoming “America’s Most Wanted” concert tour, featuring rappers T.I. and 2 Chainz.
The split came 2 days after PepsiCo removed a television commercial created by Odd Future frontman Tyler the Creator, featuring a goat reciting stereotypical slang phrases. The ad was criticized for being racist and for promoting violence against women.
According to a source, PepsiCo execs were “on edge” and “in an uproar” over Lil Wayne’s latest seizure on Tuesday night. The unnamed execs reportedly called Wayne a “PR nightmare.”

No More 'Celebrity Rehab' For Dr. Drew

Dr. Drew has revealed that he has no plans to do anymore seasons of "Celebrity Rehab" after a string of deaths among the cast members. Can you blame him? He says he tired and stressed of people blaming him everytime someone who was on the show who ends up dead.

“It’s very stressful and very intense for me. And to have people questioning my motives and taking aim at me because people get sick and die, because they have a life threatening disease, then I have to take blame for that? Rodney King has a heart attack and I have to take blame for that? That’s really what is happening these days.”

“Treating addiction is treating addiction and we had a program that was second to none. We could handily anything — the sickest patients we would take. And we were good. We did it for 20 years. That’s enough.”
