Brandy Talks About Dating and Raps On Lopez Tonight

Brandy was in the hot seat last night on “Lopez Tonight,” sitting down with the host to promote the second season of her VH1 series “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business.” The sexy singer emerged from backstage after a clip rolled of she and her brother arguing, which she explained was about his questionable decisions.
“He has a girlfriend now and she’s beautiful and she loves him for him, and that’s really hard to find when you’re in the industry that you’re in. It’s hard to find honest people. Ray is all about his career right now, and I’m saying balance the two because you need them both,” advised his big sis.
She also chatted about building her confidence on “Dancing with the Stars,” getting her swag back, maintaining relationships with her competitors, trouble with dating men, and spit a short verse as her rap alter-ego Bran’Nu.

VH1's New 'Sex & the City' Reality Show .... For 'Big Women' Only

Plus size models work the runway at a fashion show during New York Fashion Week.

Do “big girls” have more fun than the likes of Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha? Well, that’s what a new reality show is trying to prove.
Pop Tarts has learned that VH1, in association with Doron Ofir Casting and Left Right Productions, is now casting “the hottest, most bodacious, voluptuous single women in Los Angeles” for a brand new docu-series that will show “a long-awaited glimpse into the ultra-fab world of big girls!”
According to the casting release, “skinny bi**hes need to step aside” as this series is strictly for gals who “have their cake and eat it too.”
But this is certainly no weight-loss promotion program like “The Biggest Loser” or dating-related show like “More to Love.”
“There have been shows to spotlight bigger women, but there has never been a show to celebrate being a woman in a body type that they are totally comfortable with,” casting agent Doron Ofir told us. “This is going to be the ‘Sex & the City’ from big girls’ perspectives.”
And even in an industry that’s typically associated with skin and bone, there is no limit on how ‘big’ one can be for the small-screen show.
“I would say plus-sized and up, but I’m really looking for 5-6 girls that are organically interconnected with personality and a story,” Ofir continued. “We want girls with active social lives, a sense of style, who are dating, who love to raise the roof and are unapologetic about who they are and their size.”
On that note, the show’s main aim is to glorify the fuller female frame. “Time to show the world that big girls have more fun,”

Rachel Uchitel says on 'Celebrity Rehab' she is 'too much' for men to handle

If you guys caught the premiere of Celebrity Rehab 4 last night. Rachel reveals that she is on the show for.... "love addiction"

The 35-year-old nightclub hostess made her comments on "Celebrity Rehab", a VH1 reality show featuring therapist Dr. Drew Pinsky that recently began its fourth season.
Uchitel, who is battling "love addiction" and prescription drug abuse on the series, joins fellow contestants Janice Dickinson, a former model, socialite Jason Davis, Keyshia Cole's mother Frankie Lons, 1970s musician Leif Garrett and actors Jeremy London and Eric Roberts. Pinsky helps the celebrities deal with psychological and substance abuse issues at the Pasadena Recovery Center in southern California.

"I don't have a trigger that makes me get into a relationship," Uchitel says on the show. "I've never dated anybody. I don't do that. I don't know how to do that. I go right into a relationship. Usually the relationships I get into are intense. We're not talking about sex, we're just talking about the connection."
When told by Pinsky to find connections that are "less intense" and "more boring", she said: "I'm too much for them to handle but I get sucked in because the other person is pulling me in."

"I can't date a boring person," Uchitel said. "I want somebody who goes through all the traumas and the highs and lows with me. Everybody I pick usually is the type of person who will cheat or the type of person that has such an ego that they will get sick of things."
Uchitel and Woods, whose wife filed for divorce following reports of his infidelity, have never confirmed a relationship. She said that she has "hung out" with major celebrities but feels lonely.
Pinsky said her relatiosnhip issues are likely a result of abandonment issues. Her father died of a cocaine overdose when she was 15 and Uchitel's fiance, Andy O'Grady, was killed in the September 11, 2001 attacks, which were carried out by Islamic terrorists. A photo of her holding his picture appeared in the New York Post at the time and became a symbol of American grief over the event.

The breach of contract law suit involving Dancing With The Stars Brandy Norwood and Plaintiff Marc Mysterio -- whom had been paid $10,000 side artist fee to feature on Shout It Out, but never sent the vocals – returned to the Los Angeles Superior Court (Case No. BC444077) for the Central District yesterday.
Today, The Superior Court for LA County, Central District in Marc Mysterio v Brandy Norwood, et al denied Norwood's motion to dismiss the law suit ordering that the case is to move forward, and the defendants stand trial by jury.

As to the future calendaring of the case, the following dates were set by the Court: - Trial is now scheduled for July 27, 2011 as a 3-5 day jury trial;
