I helped create it when i was 13 I came up with the name and Ray had funding to make it legit

Well I actually met her before the show through one of my friends Rio and she was sleeping with another one of my friends on the low.

VH1iNFO: Im sure you heard of all her crazy antics she pulled, shaving her head, going to a crazy asylum, What do you think?

na I was never a fan of Danger thats why I made up "she smashed the homie" cause she smashed the homie and tried to act like she didt.

Cocktail I mean I know her more than the other girls and she was always cool to me.

Well she slept with Dre1 on Ray's couch at his home so its not like she didt know she was a homie smasher before she went on the show.

Man, I mean the stripper came and did her job and Sonja wasn't happy.

I felt like they were trippin .. but no worries I got a million more hits with Ray and with out Ray so I was like all good just keep it pushing im gonna keep working ya digg.

Man I put out an mixtape with Scap Dirty DJ Supra under All-Star Vilolator DJs with all origanal tunes aside from the Beamer Benz and Bently remix dropped a single "Get the Money" with Ray (you can get it on itunes and get the ringtone on jamster)I also dropped my own single "Gotta Get It" we shot the video with Black Diamond Films, which will out next week.

Brandy & Ray J Ready Joint Album

R&B siblings Brandy and Ray J have mentioned many a time their desire to release a collaborative album; it now appears such wishes are to come to fruition later this year.

“Even though the business is difficult and challenging, we can do a lot of non-traditional and traditional marketing,” Jason said. “And the blending of those things will make us successful where others are struggling.”

Slated for a fourth-quarter release, the Brandy and Ray J project will be a family-oriented album inspired by the siblings’ popular VH1 reality show, “Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business,” which will start its second season September 19. It features performances by various members of the Norwood family, including Brandy, Ray J, father/musician Willie Sr. and manager/mom Sonja.

“The VH1 show gave us a platform to broaden our family brand,” Ray J said, “and now this Time-Life project opens up more doors.”

Footage shot during the family’s recording sessions will appear in the next season of the VH1 show because, Brandy said, “fans want to see us back in the studio.”

As one who has long shuddered at the thought of a Brandy/Ray J LP (just no…), I can’t say news of the album has me anticipating it in any which way. That said, all signs point to the album, thankfully, being a side-project of sorts; clearing the way for what folk are anticipating most – Brandy’s next studio album.

It has been confirmed by Ray-J on his twitter page that season 2 started filming today. He also says that he will give is a sneak peek of the 2nd season on his Ustream page.

On Brandy and Ray-J: A Family Business, it was clear to us that Brandy was dating Flo Rida. She said his name like 2772638 times on the show lol

Well anyway she tells People magazine that she split up with the rapper to focus on her career but there are rumors going around that he left her for a model name Eva Marcille. Sources say that she was "heartbroken and crying"

However, Brandy's people denied that the two were dating. I guess we have to wait for season 2 of Brandy and Ray-J: A Family Business.

Brandy and Ray-J: A Family Business- Finale Recap

The finale of Brandy and Ray-J: A Family Business aired Sunday night. In the finale the whole family went to Mississippi for a family reunion. Brandy and Ray-J were born there before they moved to L.A. They went to Sonja's sister house. 

Brandy and Ray-J went bike riding which they did when they were younger. They stopped to take pictures and sign autographs from fans as well. Meanwhile Sonja was fed up with everyone telling her what do do. She felt underappreciated.  She had a talk with Ray-J at the lake and she says that she wants to be more appreaciated. She also says that they are like any ordinary family that has ups and downs.

Brandy and Ray-J also went to a crawfish shop. There was this chick that told Ray-J "Here is my future baby daddy" LOL  which was hilarious. Brandy also went food shopping with Sonja and Shay for the family reunion. Brandy and shay both goof off at the store.

At the end of the episode Willie sang a song to his wife. That dude can sing! He showed his dedication to her which was sweet.

Watching this show made me see how normal the Norwood family really are.

Brandy is planing to use her VH1 reality show to return to the charts. thatgrapejuice.net is reporting that The Dream has confirmed that Brandy has sign on the label. Other artists include Rihanna and Kanye West also signed with the label.

Brandy and Ray-J: A Family Business- Episode 10

Episode 10 of Brandy and Ray-J: A Family Business aired last night on VH1. Here is a recap of what happened.

Sonja called down Shay and Ryan for a short meeting to talks about their positions at the job. Sonja thinks that Shay has potential to become a manager as for Ryan he is up there. So Sonja took notes ans tries to step uo her game. Ray-J did an interview with Hip Hop weekly and told Ryan that Universal Records wants to make a deal with him. Ray-J is considering signing the contract with Universal Records.

Meanwhile, Shay called up a dude for Brandy so she can produce a sitcom. Ryan being nosy as hell was listening at the door, which I think was rude. Shay met up with Brandy ans she got call from Ryan and he told her that she was going to work with Danga. Shay thinks that Ryan feels threatened by her which I agree. The only reason why all of a sudden he stepping up for Brandy is because Shay is stepping her game for Brandy.

Ray-J wanted to tell his mom about the deal with Universal Records. She wasn't feeling  it. She wants Ray-J to finish the record first then do the deal. Shay had the meeting with the guy for Brandy then she met up with her again and told her about it. Brandy was impressed with Shay taking her job seriously.

 Brandy went to the studio with Danga and she enjoyed it they were experimenting. different beats. Ray-J sent up his family up for dinner because he has a special announcement to make. He arrived and he revealed that he said yes to the deal with Universal Studios despite of his mom saying no. She didn't like it but she respect his decision. Then Rodeny Jerkins stopped by to talk about ray-J's album. Brandy wanted to help out but Rodeny cut her out and told " you can come when the album is done" Brandy was pissed off about that. 

After that, Brandy had dinner with Tyrese and she told him about what happened with Rodney Jerkins. Tyrese thinks it's not about Rodney its about Ray-J and the dynamic between them. Brandy agreed with him. At he end of episode Ray-J was having dinner with Universal Records to sign the contract. Brandy showed and apologized to Ray-J for what happened.

Episode 9 aired last night on VH1. Here is a recap of what happened. Sonja, Shay and Sonja's friend Portia wanted to surprise Brandy on a camping trip.

She wanted to spend some time with her daughter. Brandy was exited to be going on a camping trip. Meanwhile Willie and Ray-J were spending time together by golfing.  Brandy, Sonja, Shay and Portia arrived at the camping site and Brandy and Sonja had a deep conversion with eachother. Brandy told her that her that this camping meant a lot to her and she started to cry.

Shay wanted to scare them by putting a rubber snake near them and they all screamed especially Portia. That was funny. They decided to go home after that, I guess that rubber snake spook them. When hey got home Sonja wanted to spend time with Ray-J and so she did by going with him at their old neighborhood.

Ray-J and his buddies talked about the times when he was a teen, he revealed that he was in a GANG which surprised Sonja. Sonja was really upset on the stiff she that heard because she was on the rode with Brandy and did not know what was going on back at home, she started to cry. 

On the last scene of the episode they all had dinner and Sonja questioned Willie about why he didn't took better care of Ray-J when he younger. She then realized she is just thankful that she has her son with her and  that nothing bad happened.

Brandy and Ray-J: A Family Business - Episode 8 Recap

Episode 8 of Brandy and ray-J A family Business aired Sunday night on VH1. Here is what went down. The episode started off wit Ray-J, had an idea to let Shorty Mac rap in one of his tracks. Shorty Mac liked the idea and agreed to it.

Meanwhile, Brandy's publicist came and said she should do a TV and a written interview talking the car accident she was involved in back in 2006. He said it would bring closure if she talked about it. but Brandy disagreed. She did not want to talk about it  and felt very uncomfortable talking about it. 

Ray-J and Shorty Mac went to the recoding studio to do the track which was called "Bad Girls" Shorty Mac did the track but Ray-J's producer Wack, did like the fact that Shorty Mac was doing the track. He wanted someone who was relevant to do the track and that put Ray-J in a tough situation because he had to tell Shorty Mac that he was cut off the track.

Sonja wanted to talk to Brandy about the accident she wants Brandy to do it to bring closure but Brandy disagrees and says "no one would forgive me" and she started crying. Ray-J told Shorty Mac that the was cut off the track and he understood and took it pretty well. Brandy wanted to talk to Ray-J at a cafe about the what she should do. Should she speak about the accident or shouldn't. At first Ray-J said no but then he changed his mind and said yes jus to let everyone know the truth.

On the last scene of the episode Brandy made her choice and told her mom that she wants does not want to talk about the accident.. not yet. She feels like she isn't ready and Sonja respected her wishes.

Brandy and Ray-J, Basketball Wives and What Chilli Wants gets renewed for season 2

VH1.com has announced that Basketball Wives, What Chilli Wants and Brandy and Ray-J: A Family Business has been renewed for a second seasons. The three made decent amount of ratings for VH1 and will continue. Basketball Wives will will begin filming its second season this summer. The finale of the show will air May 30th. Brandy and Ray-J season finale will air June 27th.

Episode 6 aired last night on VH1. Here is what happened. This episode was about Brandy's 31st birthday. Brandy and her friends went shopping and they discussed where should they celebrate her birthday. Since last year her birthday was a disaster. Her friend considered Miami, Florida and Brandy agreed. Brandy asked ray-J if he could help her have the best birthday ever and that what he was going to do for her.

Ray-J wanted his parents to come to Miami as well but Willie and Sonja said no. They both want to have some time to themselves. Shay asked Brandy who does she want to come to her party. Brandy revealed that she wanted Flo Rida to be in her party.

They arrived in Miami, Florida and Ray-J had to pick the muscle guys for Brandy's birthday, for some reason he felt uncomfortable so he asked Shay to pick them. Brandy was getting her nails done when the guys came and was freaking out lol Then the most awesome thing ray-J did here was a message in the sky that party at the mansion (forgot the name) but that was cool what he did. Brandy began to cry and said this was the best birthday she ever had.

Meanwhile back at home. Willie wanted Sonja to take a break from work and decided to take her dancing.  She enjoyed it too. At the of episode Brandy, Ray-J and everyone else party at the mansion.

Brandy and Ray-J: A Family Business (Episode 5 Recap)

Episode 5 aired last night on VH1. Here is what happened on this episode. They had meeting about their upcoming albums. Brandy revealed that Will.I.Am was interested working with her on her album. Ray-J and Ryan had lunch before the meeting to discuss about his album. In the meeting drama once again corrupted this time it was between Brandy and Ray-J. Brandy feels like Ray-J only cares about his himself and thinks that this business is all about him.

Brandy also got into it with her manager Ryan saying that she always being put in the back burner and that Ryan only cares about Ray-J's career.  Meanwhile Willie was concerned that Sonja is doing too much in her work and he feels like she needs to slow down a bit which caused her to almost faint. After the drama between Brandy and Ray-J, they both made up. Brandy told her brother that she doesn't want to be in a sibling competition with him.  They both agree to work on their albums.

Brandy met up with Nephew which is her producer. She recorded some songs which turned out to be successful. All of a sudden Ryan showed up and Brandy was not happy to see him after the drama they had earlier. Ray-J met up with Rodney Jerkins and recored some songs for his album which he revealed will be called "Round Of Applause"

Willie wanted to give Sonya a surprise, so he took her to dinner and he dedicated a  song to her, which was sweet. She began to felt guilty for always putting up a wall and she began to cry as well.

This episode was ok in my opinion. It wasn't one of the best of the season. Next week's episode  Brandy celebrates her 31st birthday.

Brandy and Ray-J: A Family Business- Episode 5 Recap

Episode 5 of Brandy and Ray-J A Family Business aired last night on VH1. This episode was about Brandy confronting her mom about her issues and Ray-J recording his album. Last weeks episode, Brandy did not like the way her mom is playing the favoritism card with Ray-J so on this episode, she confronted fer about her issues which did not turned out so well. It left her even more pissed off.

Now on to Ray-J, he discussed amount his album with Rodney Jerkins but his mind was not on that. Instead of recording his album, he wanted to make some $$$ so he went to Vegas and party it up. I personally think that Ray-J thinks he can do whatever he wants because his mom is the manager, he even said that his mom "would have his back" but his mom was not too happy when he came late the next day for a meeting and she let him know about it.

Meanwhile, Brandy talked to Shay about her issues about her mom, she then talked to her dad about it as well. He gave her some advice about it. At the end of the episode Sonja is willing to do some changes with Brandy. Ray-J started to become serious about his album.

Episode 4 aired last night on VH1. I will give you the highlights of what happened on this episode. Timbaland invited Brandy to perform with him on the House of Blues introducing Bran Nu which is a rapper version of Brandy. Brandy went to visit her mom for a family meaning and Ray-J acted like a damn fool. He was acting really strange playing a guitar during the meaning and just goofing off. I do think that Ray-J does has an advantage when it comes to his mom. His mom does favor him a lot more than Brandy and I will tell you why. There was a Lil Hood wannabe stripper ( yes I think she tried to act like Lil Hood) who had a "package" for Ray-J and it turned out to be a stripper and she gave him a lap dance at the office and his parents were there.

Brandy and Shay were freaking out and Sonja was very upset about it BUT she wasn't mad at Ray-J, she was mad at his friends for arranging the stripper to be there. I thought that was bullshit because Ray-J obviously liked it, so she should also be mad at Ray-J for not stopping it. That's why I think she favors him a lot more and Brandy noticed it as well. Then Shay tried to put Ray-J in his place and then Ray-J had the nerve to say "check my bank account" before you call me out or something like that. Are you serious who the hell does he think he is?


Brandy had rehearsals for the upcoming performance at the House Of Blues. Her dad and Ray-J showed up but Sonja was not there to see her daughter perform, I guess she was still upset about the whole stripper thing which she needs to get over. My thoughts on her rapping ,I thought she did pretty good but I hope that does not become a permanent thing. She is known for being Brandy (my personal opinion) At the end of the episode Brandy wanted to talk to her mom about the performance and how great it was but Sonja didn't want to come out in her room, she was still upset. That's Brandy lashed out at the whole favoritism thing with Ray-J which I don't blame her.


This episode was by far the best so far.

Brandy & Ray-J: A Family Business (Episode 3 recap)

Episode 3 of Brandy & Ray-J: A Family Business and this episode was about their music careers. I will just talk the highlights of this episode. Brandy, Ray-J, Sonja and their dad , had a meeting about their music projects and Ray-J announced Rodney Jerkins was going to produce his next album. Brandy did not really like the fact that he was going to work with Rodney Jerkins because he produced her last album which Human and that did not do well and Brandy took personally. She didn't want the same for her brother. she also said Timbaland might possibly produce her next album. Then Brandy's friend wanted to work for her mom and join the business. She got the job but she has to start from the bottom. One part that really cracked me up is one her friendthought that one of the fishes died at the office lol  Another highlight of this epsiode is when Brandy tried to work things with Rodney Jerkins. It seems like they are cool now.

Next week seems like is going to be a good one.
