InterFACE Employee and Aspiring Actress Jacqueline Madden Gets “Cut Off” on VH1

East Brunswick, NJ (PRWEB) July 29, 2010
Imagine this -- a young girl believes she's going to LA, to be featured in a new VH1 reality TV series, in which she will get to party, live in a mansion and enjoy the good life. Anyone would be all for it right? So was Jacqueline Madden, the InterFACE development director and aspiring actress and model thought the national exposure of a reality TV show would be perfect to help ignite her career. However, things changed slightly when Jacqueline realized the show she had been cast for had a slightly different theme, she was about to be featured on “You’re Cut Off”, the VH1 reality brainchild that chronicles pampered princesses fall from grace for the eight weeks they are cut off from their friends, family and most importantly their parents' cold hard cash.
Eight girls went through a two month period living a “modest” life, guided by a certified life coach, to help them become more independent and well-rounded individuals. As most can probably imagine, the inner-diva in everyone came out, and the princesses roared as they tried to become accustomed to living with each other and without their previous lavish lifestyles.
“You’re Cut Off” premiered on VH1 June 9th and since then has been a popular subject of conversation in the entertainment industry. Due to the show’s controversial topic, the Internet’s entertainment blogs have been buzzing. “Looking back on it, I think doing the show was hysterical!” says Jacqueline. “Although it was tough at times, I got a chance to do a lot of things that I thought I would never do, and I made some great friends.”
The show has boosted Jacqueline’s career as well. This summer she was featured on The Early Show on CBS, and she also shot the cover of Stepping Out Magazine.
As far as working as a top director at InterFACE; Jacqueline loves it. “It’s really nice working with people who are in the (entertainment) industry just like me,” she states. She is one of InterFACE’s biggest fans, and always recommends the talent marketing company to her friends and family to come there to begin their career.
InterFACE is a premier talent marketing firm based out of Connecticut and New Jersey. The company helps models, actors, and singers begin to break into the entertainment business by marketing them within the industry to help begin their careers.
“InterFACE does work,” says Jacqueline. “We set realistic goals and really help our clients jump-start their careers. It’s so rewarding seeing clients get requested and book jobs after I helped give them the courage to move forward.”
More reality TV for this VH1 breakout star? “Maybe not another show like ‘Cut Off,’” she jokes, “but I am ready to pursue even more demanding acting and modeling roles for sure.” This 23-year-old takes her craft very seriously, and is ready to work hard to have the career she has always dreamed of. “You have to prove yourself in this industry,” says Jacqueline, “and having been blessed with the lifestyle that I have only makes me want to work harder to stay on top.” Now that’s a girl with a good head on her shoulders, good luck Jacqueline.

Jessica Cimato as Kelso McNerlin

In a previous post Jessica (You're Cut Off) tweeted that she wanted to try out for Saturday Night Live. Well I think she has potential. She came up with a character name Kelso McNerlin. This could be a potential SNL character. What do you think.

About Kelso McNerlin:
- loves olives and raspberry jam.
- collects pennies and odd shaped cheeses.
- favorite sexual fantasy - rice pudding kozy snack packs.
- defense teacher by day
- singer/rap artist by night.

Leanne continues to help homeless people

It seems like being on You're Cut Off and feeding the homeless for PATH REALLY inspired Leanne to do more. She will be taking a tour and working a full at the PATH's facility. She wants to show people the importance of the work PATH does.

PATH helps the homeless by providing them services and housing.

VH1acces Interview: Erica Rose (You're Cut Off)

I finally did an interview with Erica Rose from You're Cut Off. She talks about why she gave Gia the nickname "birthday penis" she also says that the  L.A fight between her and Gia, where Gia threw her water bottle at her was real and NOT staged. We also talk about The Bachelor , she is also is an Human Rights Activist. Follow her on twitter

How have you been?
I've been doing great, thanks for asking!  Just having fun and enjoying my summer.

How was your experience being on the show?
It was a wonderful experience for me, a lot of fun and definitely opened up my eyes.  I liked that this experience was all about me and my growth and progress and not about impressing some guy,

Did you learn anything being on the show?
I learned how a lot of people in the world live- I learned about budgeting and the value of a dollar.  And I learned how to mow a mean lawn ;)

Did you ever thought you would have made it to graduation?
I knew I would!

 What was your favorite lesson?
I had so much fun camping- I def made the best of it and had a good time.  I would totally go camping again but this time with a hot guy and not a bunch of bitches!

There were many guests on the show, who was your favorite?
I loved having Perez Hillton on the show, he is fabulous and funny!

On the show you called Gia "Birthday Penis" why did you give her that nickname?
I've been calling people penis for years, my friends can tell you that!  I think I just had them on my mind that night since I was sexually frustrated, lol.  I have no idea why Gia was offeneded by that to be honest- kinda weird.  Bassett Hound is a better nickname for her though and I have to credit Jackie on that.

A video was recently leaked on the internet of you and Gia in L.A and Gia threw a water bottle at you. some people thought that was staged. What do you think about that? Was that real?
It definitely was not staged.  I had no idea she would throw water on me and push me- she is a loose cannon.  Trust me, you can never predict what Gia is gonna do, I wouldn't even try.

What are your thoughts on Laura Baron?
She took her job really seriously and was very concerned about our growth and progress and the integrity of the program.  We still keep in touch and have had lunch since the show ended.

What have you been doing since the show? You were recently on The Wendy Williams Show.
I spend some time in LA and NYC and filmed Wendy.  It was a lot of fun.  I also filmed an E special about The Bachelor that airs tomorrow night (Weds at 10) and gives insight into what I'm up to these days.  I'm planning on going back to Houston and finishing law school and finding a man!

Do you get recognized even more now being on You're Cut Off?
Yes, the other day in times square it was crazy!  I love when people recognize me and take pictures with me and stuff- it's sweet.  But I don't like when they just stare or talk about me and don't say anything, it's creepy!!!

You were also on The Bachelor before You're Cut Off. What are your thoughts on the whole Jake/Vienna situation?
Next...jk.  I'm not surprised, they seemed more in it for publicity than anything else.  I didn't think it would last- it rarely does.  I was more surprised about Jillian and Ed though, it seemed like she was desperate to make it work and prove people wrong so I wonder why she finally gave up.

You are also an activist, is that correct?
Yes, I'm a Human Rights Activist and I was honored and spoke at the gala last year and am also an Animal Rights Activist and was honored for my contributions by Citizens for Animal Protection.

Well Erica, thank you so much for doing this interview. Do you want yo give a shout out to anyone?
Shot-out to my girl Jackie- we had so much fun looking hot and doing our stiletto bikini blast.  Also even though we fought like sisters, I love my girl Leanne who is now going by Kuukla.  She looks great as a brunette and I love her whole mentality- she's adorable.  They're both like the little sisters I never had <3  And mom, you looked beautiful on the finale and showed that funny runs in the family, love you girl!!!  Also, shout-out to my Peen, my gay bf Peter Herro who rescued me from the attack of Gia, who knows what would've happened if he hadn't jumped in, so thanks for being there for me!!!

You're Cut Off- Finale Recap

So the finale of You're Cut Off aired last night. It was a really good finale and I really enjoyed this show. One of the best VH1 shows of this year. Here is a recap of what happened.

The girls got up from bed to do their chores and they all found out that they will be preparing a party for their families for graduation day which was the next day. So Jackie, Jessica and Courtness went food shopping to get the stuff they need with a budget of $500. While the rest of the girls had to decorate the cottage. Everyone pur their work into it... except for Pam. She went back to bed after doing her chores. Leanne told her to get up and help them out. Jackie, Courtnee and Jessica arrived back and they started cooking. Gia was baking a cake while Jessica cooking chicken parmesan. Then Jessica noticed that Pam was not there with the rest of the girls. She was pissed off about that and went to her room. It looks as if smoke was coming out of ears lol. she told her  "Why today Pam! Why today!" Pam said " don't treat me like a 10 year old" while cobing her hair. Jessica was very pissed off that she messed up her bed.

Laura Baron showed up and revealed that their families will decide if they will STILL be cut off or not. That got the girls worried. Then Laura had a final project for them. They needed to write letter convincing their parents that they have learned from this program and changed (very charm school like). While they were doing that Larua met up with their families. the one parent that stood out the most was Erica's mom LMAO. Let's just say Like mother, like daughter. Laura told Erica's mom if Erica was too obsessed with superficial things. Her mom said no and then said " you don't want her to be clean" Laura's face was priceless!  she misunderstood what she said I guess lol.

During graduation. each girl came up and read their letter but Erica came up once again Erica's mom just said stuff to her that I did not get lol  Jessica could not hold a straight face lol  Gia's husband did not want a housekeeper anymore and Gia did not like that but at end she accept it. Everyone did graduated and they had the party. Then they gave brief update on what were they doing after the show. Since VH1.com confirmed there was no reunion (figures) they made a blog post  about the girls and what they are doing now.

I to say this show was by far the best show VH1 has aired since most of their shows that they have aired have been just below average. There will be a season 2 so stay tune.

Jessica Cimato's next move..... a SNL cast member

You're Cut Off has ended (for now) so what is Jessica's next TV move? It's SNL! she tweets that her next move is to try out for the show and become a cast member. Do you think she got what it takes to become a SNL cast member?

GIA OF YOU'RE CUT OFF

VH-1
VH1 has been serving up the drama on their latest reality show You’re Cut Off. Nine princesses living off their family’s wealth think they have been tapped to appear on a reality show called The Good Life. They get the shock of their life when it turns out they’ve all been cut off and must live together to learn how to get by convenience free! RadarOnline.com caught up with Gia, one of the most controversial divas on the show. She explained why she’s a way better mother than portrayed on the show, the truth about her housemates bank accounts and why her shopping habit will never die!
RADARONLINE.COM: How has life changed since appearing on the show?
GIA: It’s been great. I get a lot of recognition everywhere I go. I have a lot of fans, yet I do have a lot of people who hate me because of the show. But otherwise it’s been great.
Paula Abdul Begins Auditions For Her New Reality Show
RADARONLINE.COM: Why do people hate you?
GIA: I think they’re jealous, but obviously they don’t understand. All they see is what’s edited into one episode. They don’t know what’s behind living with that many girls and what goes on.
RADARONLINE.COM: What was your reaction when you realized you weren’t on The Good Life and really on You’re Cut Off?
GIA: I said, ‘No way. My husband didn’t cut me off. Somebody must have put a gun to his head to say that.’ I was in denial. It was like, you know, this is crazy. This is like some kind of trick and after two days they’re going to say, ‘Okay, it’s not. You’re really at The Good Life.’ It was hard to accept it.
Hottest Stars From Reality TV
RADARONLINE.COM: Did you forgive your husband?
GIA: I forgive him. I was the only one on the show that’s married with a child so I felt like nobody really understood me. I felt like everybody else in the show was living off mom and dad’s money. And I have a restaurant in my name so I felt like as much as my husband try to cut me off, I still have a lot of assets in my name that I’ve worked hard for.
RADARONLINE.COM: Do you look back now and understand why your husband wanted you on the show?
GIA: It’s kind of a trick question. It’s like I kind of think everything I’m doing is perfect, at the same time, like I told our life coach Laura Baron, I didn’t want to come out of this experience empty handed. But it didn’t make me want to cook, didn’t make me want to clean or anything, but it did make me want to spend more time with the family. And you know, instead of shopping all the time with my daughter and doing her nails, to maybe read her a book and spend more mommy time together. But I’m new to being a mom, so I thought that was the way of giving my daughter great attention and being with her.
Kourtney And Khloe Are Back
RADARONLINE.COM: What were some of the most extravagant purchases you made before the show?
GIA: Yeah, obviously the biggest purchase that I made was going from a six bedroom house to a seven bedroom house. To me, that’s still like not that big. But I mean, I love shopping and at the same time, I do like helping people out. So I did make it very clear numerous times on the show whether they edited it or they didn’t show it but I did say that to me it’s not always all about name brands. Do you know what I mean? Like, I would rather buy ten outfits at $100 each, than buy a Gucci dress for $5,000. I like to wear it only one time and then I donate it to my housekeeper and her kids and to my church. So to me, I make better use out of it because whether I buy a dress $10,000 or $100, I’m only going to wear it once. It’s just better use to not hold onto something so valuable and to be able to donate it afterwards, which I do almost every single week.
RADARONLINE.COM: What was the biggest challenge of living in the house?

GIA: The biggest challenge in that house was to get up period. I don’t normally get up before 11 or 12. I had to get up around 6, sometimes around 7 and I hated my life and I didn’t sleep and we were up all night. It been that way my whole life. I’ve never owned an alarm clock. Even when I had school or college and I had to get up early, I always relied on somebody else waking me up because I don’t listen to alarm clocks. That was the biggest challenge. And being able to live with that many girls and share a bathroom - that was hard. I don’t like to walk in the bathroom and see nasty weaves and extensions all over the sink.
Katy Perry To Host Teen Choice Awards On Fox
RADARONLINE.COM: What were your thoughts about the other girls?
GIA: It just made me realize that I was always right and on point when I said that I don’t get along with girls and thank God for being married because I could not see myself living the single life like them. But I mean, I wish them all the best in everything that they do, but I would never ever live with them again or go through this experience. You know, I’m so glad it’s over with but they did make me appreciate being married and it just seemed like I was on a totally different level than they were being in that house.
RADARONLINE.COM: What are some changes that you’ve started to make in your life back home?

GIA: I would like to say that I cut down in shopping, but I do think that I’m addicted to shopping—honestly. I have to do it every day. It’s a really sickening and I have so many clothes that if you were to go in my closet right now, I literally have more clothes that are brand new than clothes that I’ve worn. The master closet is for me. My husband is not even allowed in there. It’s just completely mine, so he doesn’t know half the stuff that I have. And then I have other closets in the house as well. At least I admit it that I do hopefully soon will probably need some help with that, because it’s just like a drug, you know?
Katy Perry: Calling All California Gurls
RADARONLINE.COM: Were you a big shopper growing up too? When did this start?
GIA: Yeah, I was always a big shopper. But obviously there is always a limit to what you have and what you can spend as well. My parents would always spoil me, always give me all that I want, but there was always a limit also to what I could get. So I understood that, but being married to my husband, he has never really stopped me or gave me a limit or told me anything. The first couple dates that we went on, I would say, ‘Which dress should I get? This one or that one?’ He was just like, ‘Get all of them.’ I was like, ‘Damn, really? I can really get used to this.’ That’s what happened. I got used to it.
RADARONLINE.COM: Do you think your husband regrets sending you on the show?

GIA: I don’t know because I never really asked him. I think he regrets doing that because watching the show, he sees what I was put through and that I was always angry and upset and crying. He sees the bags under my eyes and he feels bad that he did put me through this. But at the same time, he notices the changes too, the subtle changes.

VH1access Interview: Courtnee Mason (You're Cut Off)

Here is my interview with Courtnee Mason from You're Cut Off. In this interview she says that being on You're Cut Off will be the experience that she will "truly never forget" she also says that she is  "thankful to be chosen" to be on the show. She also says that Chrissy also has a story just like when Gia revealed to her that she had postpartum depression. She is also a celebrity blogger for Russell Simmons Global Grind.com.
Follow Courtnee on Twitter

Here is the interview:

How have you been?

Well besides waiting on Producers, Casting Agents ,Tyler Perry to call me for shows & upcoming movies and Victoria Secret to call me to model in their Fashion Show in Dec.2010…. I’m doing pretty well. LOL

How was your experience doing the show?

This is an experience I will truly NEVER forget. I am very thankful for the opportunity to have been chosen to be on this show. This show has opened my eyes up to a lot of things and all I can say is …God is good! I love meeting new people and hearing the girls stories and I feel God has placed me in their lives as well as mine for a reason.  I am thankful!

How did it felt like being cut off?

“Cut Off” lol….I wouldn’t say “Cut Off”. I would call it more like a Motivational Boot Camp. I have always been one to chase my dreams and my parents and sister have always been there to support me. I think it is their way of saying “Courtnee we love and support you in all you do, but it is time to get a job in your career and stop settling for any ol thing.” Which is VERY understandable, that is why I want Tyler Perry, Denzel Washington, Oprah, Will Smith and Brad Pitt to call me!

What was your favorite lesson?

My favorite lesson by far was when we went to PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) because I love to give back to others. I get joy out of making other people happy and making them laugh.  I started a prom dress drive as a pageant queen a few years ago as well as donating fruit baskets to local shelters. I am a very giving person not for the sake of taking credit but because little gestures makes people less fortunate happy. At the end of the day when and I die and go to heaven I want God to say to me “Well done my good and faithful servant.”

Watching the show, it seems like you did not get into many arguments/fights with the girls. Did you get along with most of the girls?

I got along with ALL of the girls….even though they all got on my nerves at some point and time….lol.  Although it is not shown I broke up a lot of arguments and a lot of the girls came to me for guidance on certain situations. I am way to grown to be a part of drama and I refused to become a part of it. What do I look like arguing on tv about some elementary stuff??!! Not a good look.

What are your thoughts on Chrissy? Did you think she deserved to go home?

Although Chrissy was portrayed as a disrespectful little twit (for the lack of a better word) she could have benefited from the program. Like I mentioned to Gia on the show… “When Chrissy is ready to change, she will change” but you can never force change upon someone. Change happens when the party is ready, open and willing to change. All I can say is that there is more to Chrissy than meets the eye, she has a story to tell and I hope one day she is able to tell HER STORY. Despite what the viewers’ saw Chrissy is too funny for words. Did Chrissy deserve to go home??….ummm based on her disrespect to Laura, Laura’s Program and making us constantly wait on her …I don’t blame Laura for kicking her out of the program. At the same token we all came in the program together and I think we should have all left together, but maybe her leaving the show taught her an even bigger lesson than Laura could ever teach her (just “maybe”). I can’t lie and say I wasn’t aggravated with Chrissy’s behavior, but what can I say… I know that Chrissy and I have had deep talks on and off camera so to see her leave was bittersweet.

What do you think of Laura Baron?

I love Laura! She has a HUGE heart and she really cared about ALL of us. I remember her tearing up with us on several occasions. What can I say she loved us and it was nothing she did for the cameras you can tell it was genuine. Even after the show she still calls to check in to see how I am doing and what’s next for me. Laura is one of a kind.

Who was your favorite guest?

I loved meeting all of the guest, but I have to say my favorite guest was Michelle Williams (from Destiny’s Child). I love to see positive “Celebrity Christian Role Models” doing something in their community that people may not generally see. Being a celebrity of her status it was good seeing her helping out. I wish Michelle the very best of luck in all she does.

On the last episode, Gia opened up to you about having depression. How did you feel about her opening up to you out of all he girls?

You can always tell someone has a story by their demeanor. I knew that as “mean” as Gia was that there was something in her past or current future to make her act out the way that she did. Gia’s story is deeper than what the world saw, she too like Chrissy has stories to tell that could ultimately be a blessing and inspiration to others. I only wish that we all had more time with each other.

What have you been doing since the show?

Since the show I have been sitting by the phone waiting on a producer to say “Courtnee we want you to be in this movie/show” (I am not sitting but more or less praying)…lol. What can I say I was a Professional Theater Major at NC Agricultural and Technical State University (shout out to all my Aggies and the Theater Department). I am currently a “Celebrity Blogger” for Russell Simmons Global Grind. You can find my weekly blogs on www.globalgrind.com. Who gets to say I am a blogger for Russell Simmons website with over 1.7 million viewers a day (I’m thankful)?! I have been working on my business Bon Appétit Productions LLC. which is dedicated to feeding the mind, body and spirit through the arts along with some up and coming business adventures. Anyone interested in working with me email me:booking@courtneemason.com. I also have been teaming up with Our Face Enterprises LLC (which is focused on redefining our face in society) to work on some future projects.

You also have a blog. Can you tell us about it?

I actually have two blogs going I am a “Celebrity Blogger” for Russell Simmons Global Grind. You can find my weekly blogs on Russell Simmons website www.globalgrind.com. Also I have a blog on my website www.courtneemason.com (click the blog tab) make sure you join my blogs. I like to talk about life lessons, my personal experiences along with what I am up to these days and where you can find me.

Thank you for doing this interview. Do you want to give a shout out to anyone?

First and foremost this experience would not be possible if it wasn’t for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so I thank him for this unforgettable opportunity.  I want to say to my wonderful parents ,my sister Crystal and my future brother in law (you know who you are)  thank you soooo much for all you have done  and continue to do in my life I LOVE YOU GUYS! Of course my family (that includes you A.R.H lol) and friends (MBF) thanks for your constant and unconditional love and support!! X and Natasha (greatest makeup artist) thanks for the many photo shoots. To the best HBCU/University in the world North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University “Aggies” I hope I made you proud (Aggie Pride). To my professor Miller Lucky Jr. your classes taught me a lot and have been a blessing in my life …thank you.  Last but not least to my wonderful fans thanks for showing me love!!

Episode 7 of You're Cut Off aired last night. This weeks lesson was all about giving back. This was by far my favorite episode of the season.

Erica went to the backyard to do her "Stiletto Bikini Blast" with Jackie and Pam. All three girls did a workout with their bikini's and sunglassess on. Inside were the other girls and they annoyed by what they were doing. Gia saya that was the "biggest whore blast" she ever heard. Then she played a little Guess Who game with Leanne and Jessica.

She says "who has face that looked like got smashed by a frying pan"? Leanne answered Jackie which was correct. Then Courtnee questions to Gia why she does not like Jackie and Erica. Gia says that she couldn't stand "Fake Bitches and "fake accents" The girls had to pick who should do each chore since there was no VIP.  Gia was pissed that Erica was bossing her around. Gia says" do not demand me to do anything"

They got a letter from Laura on what they were going to do this week. They arrive at Path which is a place to feed the homeless. Then Leanne said something arrogant and said homeless were "disgusting" she also says that they were "lazy" and need to "get a job"Laura also told them that they will have a special guest with them and that guest was Michelle Wiiliams  from Destiny's Child. She looks great with her short hair. The girls went inside to put on their uniform. Amber says "I do not want to look like a lunch lady" and of course Gia did not want to put on the uniform either, but Michelle Williams made her lol.

They started cooking Gia didn't really do that much she says "I don't even my feed my husband food"  "Can I just donate money? Once the homeless people came they shocked on how they looked. They thought they would look all gross looking. Pam says" I thought they would be naked"  Then they had to chat with them and get to know them. They found out that homeless people don't choose to be homeless. Gia finally opened up and talk a guy who has a family that does not know he was homeless, Gia offered him a job at her restaurant which was very nice of her. She started to feel a connection with felt and felt like crap on how she is been acting. Once that was over, Laura had one more surprise for them. She tells them that they will get their belongings back BUT they had to sell some of their stuff for charity and raise money for Path.

Of course they all freaked out. They were two teams. Pam, Jackie, Erica and Courtnee in one team and the other Gia, Jessica,Leanne and Amber. So they dig through their stuff. Gia decided to sell her hookah. So the next day they opened up a store at Path. Michelle Williams was there too to check up on them. Customers came, one woman wanted to buy Gia;s hookah she almost until Erica blocked her sell. Erica told the woman "That does not' work " and " You do not know what diseases that thing has" Gia was pissed off. Courtnee was also pissed and told them to just stop. at the end Gia, Jessica, Amber and Leanne team won. they raised  $1,741 and their prize was to have luck with Michelle Williams.

All four girls had lunch with her.  Michelle Williams gave Gia some advice on how not to create a monster. Gia old her all she does with her daughter is take her shopping, do her nails and hair. Back at the cottage that's when Gia told Courtnee that she suffered from postpartum depression and tells Courtnee that "she was the worst mom you could ever imagine" She reveals that she locked her crying daughter in her room.  That must have took courage of Gia to say that and that gives me a better understanding of her.

They all had a group meeting. Laura tells the girls what they thought about eachother. Jessica says Erica made some minor progress and Pam says Gia has not changed. Courtnee ended winning the final VIP finally.

Next week is the finale.
