Bret Michaels & Kristi Gibson Engagement More Likely Than Ever

Bret Michaels & Kristi Gibson Engagement More Likely Than Ever

Las Vegas doesn't have official odds on whether Bret Michaels and Kristi Gibson will finally get engaged. But Michaels says it's a better bet than ever.

The chances that he and his on-and-off girlfriend of 16 years will decide to marry are now about "50/50," the rocker told PEOPLE on Monday in Vegas. That's way up from the past few years – his VH1 Rock of Love days – when the odds were probably 1 in 100, he says.

"We've been talking a lot about getting engaged, and we'll see what happens," said Michaels, 47, who was in Sin City to co-host the 2010 Miss Universe Pageant. "We just want to make sure we're not doing it for anyone other than ourselves."

What do think?

Vh1 Rock of Love Made it on TV Shows That Burned Out

Rock of Love -- The first season of Bret Michaels' search for a love -- er, we mean, a lingerie-clad hussy -- was pure gold. Where on earth did they find these women? And how could he possibly think any of them were his soulmate? The second ROL season was even more over the top, but still enjoyable. But by the time VH1 announced Rock of Love: Tour Bus, our fascination had passed.
Despite his penchant for nasty girls, Michaels was funny and charming and deserved better in a reality show. Thank God he finally got it.

Celebrity Rehab 4s Jeremy London & Rachel Utichel Dating?

Rachel Uchitel and Jeremy London Affair: Actor Denies Rumors

There appears to have been rumors surfacing recently, which have suggested that “Party of Five” actor Jeremy London is having a relationship with Rachel Uchitel, who became well known for being one of the women that came forward and claimed that she’d had an affair with Tiger Woods.
However, according to a recent article at people.com by Johnny Dodd and Eunice Oh, Jeremy has hit back at such reports, and claimed that they are just friends. 37-year old London – who will star in VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab” alongside Rachel” – said that he has a lot of respect for Uchitel.
Although he admits they have become close, Jeremy claims they are more like brother and sister. You can read the full story by visiting people.com.

Dr. Drew brings expertise to Chico

e.Dr-Drew-interview.02.KL.jpg
Laxson Auditorium filled up fast on Friday, Aug. 19 as students, parents and fans of Dr. Drew Pinsky gathered to hear the highly acclaimed, board-certified internist and addiction medical specialist talk about relationships, drugs, sex and anything in between.

Pinsky’s work has become extremely popular with his syndicated radio show, “Loveline,” which he has hosted for more than 20 years. His TV show on VH1 “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” and other spinoffs such as “Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew” have highlighted the issues of addiction.
This is not the first time Pinsky has made his way to Chico. He has been to Chico State a few times in the past and recognizes the “reduced sense of self respect and boundaries” among college students.
College is “the launching pad for our lives” and “there is a vibrancy of talking to younger people,” Pinsky said.
As he took the stage, it was immediately apparent that Pinsky was willing to talk about serious problems such as binge drinking, casual sex and addiction.
“Starting college, I know I’ll be running into a lot of problems emotionally,” said freshman Spencer Thomas, an environmental science major. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get this high of advice.”
The goal for the night was simple, Pinsky said.
“To have fun and learn something,” he said. “I want this to be as interactive as possible.”
Audience members were involved in the conversation for the entire two hours. Several microphones floated throughout the crowd and students were welcome to ask Pinsky questions. His responses were entertaining as well as knowledgeable.
Thomas found Pinsky’s presentation to be a learning experience, especially when it came to differences between the sexes, he said.
“I didn’t know there was a difference in brain chemistry,” Thomas said. “That it’s possible for a girl to be attracted and not act on it.”
Pinsky covers many topics, but one that he has excelled in is talking about how men and women think differently when it comes to sex and relationships.
His TV and radio talk shows address the struggles real, everyday people deal with.
Addiction is the most relevant issue in today’s society, Pinsky said. He has dedicated his life to helping others gain a healthier understanding of their lives to better themselves.
“It’s about the shared experience,” Pinsky said. “I’m in love with the human experience.”
This love has culminated into widespread success and his college talks seem to have only increased his popularity.
“I watch ‘Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew’ all the time,” said freshman Anna Hunter. “I’ve never listened to ‘Loveline’ before, but I want to now.”
Instinct was a theme that presented itself in many of the audience members’ questions.
Pinsky began this profession because he had an instinct about addressing issues publically in a powerful manner, he said. Many of the problems youth face today can be answered by asking a simple question of yourself — “What does your instinct tell you?”

Celebrity Rehab Frankie ( Keyshia Coles Mother ) Thanks Dr Drew

Reality star and Keyshia Cole's mom, Frankie has gotten all sorts of notoriety for her antics during their collective reality show and even a brief stint on Atlanta radio (Holllaaaa, mandown!). However, recently, Frankie seems a little repentant for her outlandish behavior, wants to publicly apologize and has even sought help from none other than Dr. Drew Pinsky on his celebrity rehab show on VH1. In a public statement, Frankie says:

"Thanks to Vh1's Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, I graduated from rehab but am continuining treatment at an aftercare courtesy of Vh1. I still have a long way to go in my goal to change my life to live as a sober grandmother, mother and career woman. Taking responsibility for my actions is part of rehab. As such, I would like to apologize to the staff at CBS TV Atlanta and its viewers. I accidentally said a curse word during my live TV interview on Better Mornings Atlanta. I am working very hard to change my behavior as part of my rehab."
